Raven's POV

For the next few days as mating season continued, I noticed that Beastboy would always want to be around me, which I didn't mind. The only issue was that the others were starting to suspect.

But today I had noticed it was especially bad.

I was playing Mario Kart with Cyborg on the tv.  I was winning, but at the last second, he hit me with a red shell and proceeded to win.

"Aw man! I totally almost had it! No fair!" I said with my arms crossed.

I couldn't help but smile up at Cyborg, who was doing a victory dance.

"I won! You lost! I beat you! Yes! I'm finally better than you at something!" He said.

We both laughed.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Beastboy siting on the stool in the kitchen bouncing his leg up and down. He didn't look happy.

I gave him a smile, but he just turned around and walked away.

"I'll be right back, Cy. And I'm gonna beat you next round,"

"You wish little sis. Hey Rob! You on for a round?" Cyborg yelled.

I walked casually out of the room, but ran once I was out of sight from the others.

I got to Beastboy's room. His door was closed.

I knocked.

"Hey Beastboy it's me. Can I come in?"

"Raven stay away," he said in a low, dark tone.

I had never heard him talk like that.

"Beastboy seriously. Open up," I said as I knocked again.

No response. Just a growl.

I opened his door and closed it behind me using my powers.

His lights were off and the only light in the room was the light peaking from behind his closed curtains.

Beastboy was faced away from me, crouching on the floor.

"Beastboy are you ok?" I asked, genuinely concerned.

He turned around.

His clothes were ripped and his eyes were much darker than usual. He looked angry. And kinda... scary?

"I said GO AWAY!" He shouted angrily at me.

I was taken aback, but I wasn't about to let him scare me. I'm Raven. I could take him down easy.

"Gar. I'm not leaving. Look. If this was about Cyborg, I already told you tha-"

He ran up and shoved me against the wall before I could even process that he had moved.

I looked up at him.

His eyes were now even darker and he didn't look like himself at all.

I was officially scared.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.

"I heard yelling. Is everything ok in there?" Robin asked.

"Everything is ok Robin. We were just arguing a little. Thank you though," I said, forcing out a happy voice.

Hearing another guy's voice was all it took.

He transformed into the beast.

Still pushing me against the wall, he now lifted me higher, until my feet were far from the ground.
