While everyone was distracted, Cain casually walked over to where Raven's drink was. After one last inconspicuous look to make sure no one was watching, Cain pulled a small bag from his pocket. He opened it up and poured the powdery contents into Raven's drink. He swirled around the drink for a few seconds and then slipped away before anyone could notice.

A few minutes later, Cain was talking to his father and mother. He kept track of time to make sure he could get to Raven at the perfect time.
"Cain sweety you keep looking at your watch. Is everything ok?" Eden asked.
"Yah! Everything is going great mom! Time is just going a little slow for me tonight because I'm tired. Hey, weren't you going to tell Arella and the other girls about your new hobby? And didn't you have some sort of girl talk for them?"
"Oh! I completely forgot. Thank you for reminding me."
"Oh and dad, why don't we and Luke show Garfield around the facility briefly while the girls talk? Some of the guests are already leaving and I don't think he's seen this part of Azarath before."
"Hmm. I suppose that sounds nice. Let's go offer."
"Ok! I don't feel so great so I'm going to the bathroom. I'll catch up and find you guys when I'm done."
"Are you sure you don't want us to wait?"
"Totally sure dad. Just go and I'll be there in a few minutes."
"Ok son."
Adam went to go get Beastboy and Luke while Eden went to get Raven, Arella and Sarai.
When Raven heard about the plan, she saw no issue. But when Beastboy heard that the boys were going to be leaving the girls behind, he got nervous. He wouldn't be able to be by Raven's side and protect her if something happened.
Raven let go of Beastboy's hand, causing his heart to sink.
"Where's Cain?" Beastboy asked.
"Oh. He's in the bathroom. He will join us briefly," Adam replied.
Beastboy's heart sunk further. Something was up. But Raven was safe with Arella, Eden and Sarai. And it's only for a few minutes. Plus, he remembered that they have mental communication so if she was in trouble, all she would have to do is ask for help and he would be there in no time.
The boys left to go walk around the facility. Raven finished the rest of her drink.
"Ew. Why does the bottom of the juice taste funny?" She whispered to herself.
Instead of worrying about it, she shrugged it off and then went with the 3 other girls.
About 7 minutes later (and a little over 13 minutes after Raven started drinking the contaminated juice, Cain exited the bathroom.
He noticed that Raven was holding her head and swaying slightly.
It was his time to shine.
He smoothly walked up to the girls.
"Raven is it ok if I talk to you about something real quick? I'm planning something special and I'd like your advice."
She nodded as she tried to act as normal as possible. But she couldn't deny that something was very wrong with her body.
"Cool! It's kinda a surprise so if it's ok, we can talk outside."
Again, Raven nodded. It was hard for her to speak but she wasn't sure why.
