VII: Possession's Latest Captive

Third POV

Izuku stood off to the side, staring down at his phone, taking multiple glances at the exit of the Banquet Hall. For whatever reason Katsuki was taking a long time to just use the bathroom, especially after that little bravado from Camie.

But no worries, right?

Izuku sighed, deciding to wait an extra 5 minutes that now added onto the previous ten before he decided to just head upstairs. During that time, he paced around in a circle, twiddling his thumbs, allowing his breathing to turn back to normal.

Or at least that's what he was trying to hand he finally found Katsuki and one extra person who he'd rather keep their grabby hands off his fiancé.

They stood upright, as Camie pushed herself close to him to the point where he had to wrap an arm around her if she didn't want to fall and break a heel; her head was tilted upwards close to his face meaning they could've kissed at any moment.

They stared into each other's eyes; too deep to even notice Izuku. Though, that was a good thing he supposed, this now meant he could leave without being undetected. He sped-walked to the elevator, not looking back because he didn't want his heart to crack more than it already had.

By the time he'd actually made it into the elevator he pressed any random button, not caring where he'd end up, but as long as he knew it'd take him far away from the scene it was more than enough for him.

His tears flooded his eyes, only listening for the 'ding' sound, but the elevator stopped, not on the floor it was supposed to but on floor 128.

A group of people wearing the Shiketsu colors entered the elevator, too focused on their conversation to even notice him.

Well, all but one.

Izuku felt his arm being pulled, pulling out of the metal contraption, only getting flashes of purple hair, assuming it was Seiji.

"Now I'm not sure if you wanted to take my invite but I'm sure you didn't want to be in tears with other people being less than a foot away." The man noted.

Izuku slowly nodded his head, "Yeah... Thanks for that."

Suddenly he stopped walking, placing his own hand on top of Seiji's that gripped his other hand asking a question the Shiketsu member would've been pleased to hear,

"Is that offer to chat still good?"

Seiji turned around, his exterior being blank yet he still nodded- leading them both to his hotel room. The bedroom was dark, but Izuku could tell that of wasn't nearly as big as his and Katsuki's upstairs. Seiji turned on the light before making Izuku have a seat on the side table.

With a toggle of a light switch the room was now illuminated, Izuku taking in his surrounding area. The light fragrance of cologne and what possibly smelled like vanilla captivated his nose. He watched Seiji on the other side of the room open up a new bottle of wine, compliments from the hotel, pouring a small amount into two wine glasses.

"Normally I'd say that drinking while upset leads to bad decisions, I'm sure one glass couldn't hurt..." He suggested, taking a seat next to Izuku and handing him a drink.

Izuku swirled the white wine in the glass, watching how it rippled before gulping it down and putting it on the table.

Izuku felt numb in a sense. The mixture of his emotions being in turmoil and the alcohol made him feel passionless, "So, you said you'd wanted to chat with me, but what about?" Izuku questioned, adjusting his posture.

His emerald gaze interlocked with Seiji's, listening to his honest response. "I'd talk about aimless things but you never seemed to answer my question from earlier; don't you think we should start from that and move on?"

He poured more alcohol into Izuku's glass, watching the boy pick it up and press the glass against his champagne pink lips. "I'm Katsuki's fiancé but after tonight I think I have some unresolved issues to work out..." Izuku answered, taking a sip of the drink.

He watched Seiji slowly nod, to prove he was listening, in fact, as Izuku went on that, was all he did. He just listened to him.

. . .

Time went on, with Seiji asking questions and Izuku either giving a very brief or vague response, because even though Izuku could finally get his feelings out, and yes, he did know he could've talked to anyone in Katsuki's clan about this but maybe if he'd gotten an outside perspective...

"Thank you for the conversation," Izuku whispered, allowing the room to fall silent after talking for so long.

The purple-haired man shook his head, "I feel dignified knowing that you don't express any hatred to me; after all, I did just approach you out of nowhere."

Izuku giggled, his cheeks flushed from Seiji's words and from the multiple glasses of wine he had, "Oh no I could never hate on someone that easily; especially you..." his voice wavered, his eyes swirling with different emotions.

He stood upright, as did Seiji moving closer to one another. In that moment, the silence of the room was deep and calming, the sounds of just their breathing and the sound of clothing ruffling was all that was heard.

They stared deep into one another's eyes, reaching out and pulling each other close. In that moment they each forgot a valuable and critical detail about their current predicament.

"This is Katsuki Bakugo's fiancé."

"I'm Katsuki's fiancé."

They leaned in close, their lips mere millimeters away; with Izuku being half lidded and drunk only being aware of the fact that the person holding him wasn't the person he loved the most.

Something shiny caught his eyes, averting his gaze to the ring on his left hand, and flashes of a dangerous man appeared in his head.

But oh well...

Rather, here he was in the arms of someone he'd yet again captivated.
