XII: Judgement

Third POV

It was early morning, as everyone was now headed into different vehicles; clearing out from the hotel with warm gestures and goodbyes until the next meeting.

Izuku and Katsuki were the first to leave, with a black hood over the green haired boy's head when they exited the lobby- it being clear that his identity was still a secret for those not in their clan.

During the car ride to the air plane hangar Izuku murmured to himself trying to ease his anxiousness for when they fully arrived home.

He figured that if Katsuki wasn't gonna talk to him at the hotel nor the actually trip then the most likely option was at the main home. Where it would just be the two of them.

The silence Katsuki let off was eerie, and every time izuku managed to get his attention his crimson eyes would pierce the boy's soul like no others.

So for now Izuku maintained his focus on the window; looking out at the blur of the city and its wonderful lights. Quite the shame he couldn't go out with Katsuki and enjoy them on better terms.

. . .

"Home here we come." Kaminari muttered to those around him, as the sound of engines starting managed to over shadow everything else.

Normally his cheerful self would've yelled it out, spreading the positivity with everyone else but not at a moment like this; he didn't want to anger the already agitated blonde.

Everyone walked a few paces behind Izuku and Katsuki who didn't utter a single word from the moment they left and were honestly getting worried for the couple and their relationship.

They'd picked up little instances from the trip- how easily distraught izuku became and how Katsuki acted like he was one light away from blowing a fuse, in which case he did with Seiji, but still...

When they heard Izuku was found with Seiji that should've sealed it. Who's side should they have been on?

They'd normally pick Katsuki but Izuku meant something to all of them, which made this harder than ever. Deep down they hoped they wouldn't have to do anything drastic.

They boarded the plane and got settled in- the usual method of taxiing then final takeoff was now underway.

Mina and the other girls watched as Katsuki suddenly get up from his seat and stand in front of Izuku, grabbing the boy's hand and leading them both to the back of the plane which should've been noted as unoccupied.

It was obvious they wanted to chat.

Izuku's breath was delayed, as he wriggled himself out of Katsuki's strong grasp; massaging his wrist that got the most damage in the process of being dragged away from his seat.

He knew he shouldn't have, but izuku felt a bit frustrated. This entire time Katsuki didn't want to talk but was now yanking him away? Nuh uh.

But that didn't mean he'd have enough audacity to fire shots as his fiancé.

"Well.. we're alone..." Izuku whispered, avoiding direct eye contact with Katsuki- to which the blonde didn't take so politely as Izuku felt his face get gripped and forced to have his emerald
Eyes meet Katsuki's ruby ones.

"Well? What the hell do you mean by well?" Katsuki angrily murmured, "14 hours more or less for you to explain to me what the hell I walked in on."

Izuku halted, assuming it should've been obvious that clearly nothing happened, "Nothing- it was nothing."  He huffed out, nudging Katsuki's hand off of his face, "We talked. That's all I know."

That last part made Katsuki narrow his eyes, watching Izuku avoid making contact for that split second he finished his statement.

He was lying.

"Izuku you can play stupid with anyone but me- something happened and I want you to be straight up with me." Katsuki finally shot back, pinning Izuku against himself and the wall.

"And I gave my answer- nothing happened, nothing you'd at least classify as paramount to our relationship." Izuku rolled his eyes, trying to get out of Katsuki's way but no avail.

"Then let me be the fucking judge of that." Katsuki grunted, more than just ready to get to the bottom of this. Izuku let out an irritated sigh, "I was upset okay? And Seiji invited me to his room to talk and have a drink."

Something wasn't right. This story Izuku told was missing something, right? That's what Katsuki's gut told him. "And you agreed to go even knowing that you are a complete lightweight that gets completely wasted after 3 shots?" Katsuki challenged in a condescending tone, irking the green-haired boy even more, but he didn't answer back.

"Okay if you won't answer that- then what were you two talking about before I found you in that state."

"Seiji was wondering what someone like me was doing in a clan like this and with someone like you." Izuku responded, bring emphasis on the 'you' part.

Katsuki remained unfazed- it seemed what Seiji said early before taking a serious beat down was true after all.

"It was late, I felt dizzy and I decided to get up and head to our room but I got held up." Izuku added, his gaze down at the floor this time. A hand placed itself on his neck, Izuku finally focusing on Katsuki yet again- but the looks on the blonde's face made it clear that he didn't like that last part.

That surging anger izuku had that night, it was slowly bubbling again as Katsuki kept him trapped- wanting to tell the blonde to leave him alone, but he didn't.

What he said was much worse.

"You happily went back to your ex that night didn't you? So why should it even matter if I was with Seiji?" As he nudged his neck out of Katsuki's grasp, walking back to his seat, obviously wanting to be left alone.

And that was fine by Katsuki. Not literally. He was still pissed but with his and Izuku's judgment of each other clouded, it would've been best for them to stay away.

Just until they got home.
