Chapter 6: King of the Mountain

3rd person POV

The three friends started to panicky look around the hall for there friend but finding him no where.

"We must have lost him in the crowd when we where walking up here!" Gem said with a panicked voice.

The group of friends quickly turned to the elf that lead them here, "You have to help us search for him!" Shubble said or more like yelled at the elf .

The elf seemed to think for a moment before looking back at the group. "Fine but only because I don't want you'll all to be wondering around when the king get back here."

The three friends nodded in understanding and quickly followed the elf outside. All trying not to panic and cause a sene.

Meanwhile the Codfather had no idea where he was. He lost site of his friends a few minutes ago, and for the life of him he couldn't see them in the crowd. It really didn't help that they all were warring the white cloaks the elf at the start gave them. Abs it wasn't like they were the only ones that where wearing them.

But at this moment Jimmy was doing three things: one: looking for his friends, two: looking at the beauty of this kingdom and three : trying to blend in to the other elf's around. He may not know much about the elf's but he did know if they found out the there was a human, or a cod hybrid, here it would cause a panic.

(Side note: animal hybrids can hide their animal parts which is what Jimmy is doing except for his cod ear fins)

But while he was also looking for his friends he  has noticed somethings about the elf around him. Many of them had wings?!

And the color of there wings seemed to be mostly white with the tip as there hair. Or that's what was the most common. Which was cool! Another thing he realized was the amount of sheep and goats they had here, which was a lot.

But while he was looking around he didn't realize anything in front of him. Until he bumped into someone in front of him.

Jimmy lookup from where he was standing to see he had just bumped in a guard that seemed to be in a group of three other guards.

"I'm so sor-" Jimmy started but couldn't finish cause out of no where the guard that he had bumped into grabbed him by the neck and held him up agents then rock wall right next to them.

"Look at this boys! Some elf wants to fight with someone of higher ranking then them!" The guard that was holding him up said to the other guards, who seemed like they also wanted a piece of him, or at least wanted to laugh at the show. Then out of no where the guard the was holding him by the neck threw  him to the ground! But then the worst possible thing that could have happened now happened.

When Jimmy sat up.... His hood fell off his head.... And the second that it fell a gasp could be heard from many elf's who where watching.

Jimmy quickly got up on his legs when he realized what had happened and right as he did the guard that started all of this tried to punch Jimmy down but luckily Jimmy was able to dodge the punch.

"Look at this freak! Not only is he a human but he also has little fishy ear " One of the guards said laughing. But Jimmy couldn't help but feel extremely hurt by this.... Them out of no where fWhip came swooping down from the cliff above, the other two joining them not long after.

More gasps could be heard from the crowd of elf's watching. The four friends were cornered and had no where to run. And they really didn't want to hurt these people but it was starting to seem like the only option.

Then all of a sudden from the crowd they heard a voice that seemed to make everyone freeze in their actions 

"What us the meaning of this!" And this yell was more of a pissed off yell then anything.

Then another figure appeared from the crowd, they were also wearing a white hood except this one had a gold trim, no tried to stop him and just moved out of the way. Seeming to bow slightly as the figure walked past.

"I umm s-sir these humans were trying to harm the civilians we were only doing my job and protecting everyone!" One of the guards said. Stumbling on their words.

"No! You four started it and we didn't come here to harm any of you!" Gem yelled back clearly pissed off at the guards.

"They lie si-"

"I've heard enough from you all go back to your post and I'll deal with this." The hooded figure said stepping forward.

"B-but sir!"

"That is an order!" The figure said in more of a scary voice then before.

By now many of the elf's who were watching have left getting the hint but a few stayed to see what would happen. The hooded figure turned back to the four of them "Shall we talk some more in private?"

The four nodded and followed the man down the stone path to a house right nexts to the stone deer statue they past when they first arrived. The figure opened the door and let the four friends in and closed it behind themselves.

"Man that was stressful thank you for help us back there." Shubble said

"Yah thank you sir though I don't get how the guards just left you alone. You a general or something?" fWhip asked. The figure answered this with a laugh, and not a short one.

After he calmed down after a minute he turned to look at the four. " I'm sorry I did not mean to laugh it's just been a while sense I've have to introduce myself." He said as he reached for his hood taking it off.

"Now I think it's time I introduce myself. My name is Scott and I'm the king of Rivendell." He said while making a small bow.
