Chapter 10: The Final Peace(?)

Jimmy POV:

It took forever but we made! Right now we're just at the border of Spawn but you could still make out people doing their jobs and working on the other side of the wall through the gate as we approached. I looked over at Scott and he was talking with Shubble probably about what is going to probably happen and where his men should go. Too which I was right about as Scott then told his men what to do and if anyone asked tell them there here with the king of Rivendell, and so on and so forth and to not attack or cause trouble in the streets. You know, try to make a good first impression kind of thing.

After he was done we made are way down to the more or less outpost that was call Spawn. And as soon as people saw us as we entered through the gates whispers filled the air. Eyes turned and many stopped to see and stare at what was happening in their home. However once we got to the outside of the meeting hall most people had went on with their day and we got off of are mounts and handed the rains to one of the soldiers to which then made their way to the stables.

I looked over at the others and then back at the door as fWhip pushed open the doors and we made our way up the stairs.Once we got to the top we were faced with more doors and Shubble looked back at us then back to the doors as they took a deep breath in and out. They then opened the doors taking the lead and the others soon followed them inside.

Shubble's POV:

I told Scott that I would tell him when to come in and introduce himself and that everything will be ok. Though I was partly saying that to reassure myself that everything would be fine. I'm still holding my breath.

Once I opened the doors and aloud Gem, Jimmy, fWhip and I to walk in I looked up to see all the other rulers sitting at the table all staring at us in shock. Some definitely looked more surprised then others at the table.

"Sorry for barging in but I'm sure whatever you're talking about can't be as important as the news we have." fWhip announced. Grinning with that idiotic yet knowing smile we all know by now.

"Well this is a very shocking surprise and yes we are all wondering what you have found on your trip to the unknown lands." Sausage said as the others nodded in agreement. Many still seemed shocked at are sudden appearance, my lord did they really have so little faith in us?

"Well we are happy to report the the mission was both a successful and unsuccessful one." Gem said from behind me. Playing with her hair while looking away.

"Oh how did it go, please do tell?" Joel said looking curious. But also seeming to have a bit of glee mixed up into his words as he spoke then.

"Well we did find what we were looking for but we were unable to get any real information about how to cure are land and get rid of the crystals, but we did find some information about how we may be able to stop Xornoth" I said taking the lead again. I wish I was taller so people would take me more seriously sometimes.

"Oh my that's not good but as great? What are we going to do now.?." Joey said sounding worried.

"But I believe we came back with something or should I said someone better." I said and before they could respond I continued. "Now let's all be respectful to are guest." And right on cue Scott opened the door and walked in. At the same time I mentally crossed my fingers and hoped for the best case scenario.

And soon as he came into view of the others you could see the looks on there faces change.
What where once faces of confusion and worry were now filled with curiosity, awe, and wonder.

"Hello I'm Scott and I'm the king of Rivendell it's a pleasure to finally meet all of you." He said take a small bow. Then looking up with the same smile I grew to trust and know this man by.
