what's wrong with my heart why is it racing . " wait here " he said to me while helping me sit on the nearest bench . the cold breeze hit my face because its almost winter now . i take a deep breath as i smile to myself " i love winter " .after sometimes , i hear jake's footstep coming towards me . " this is for you " he hold my hand and put a cotton candy on my hand . i smile saying thank you at him .

" i don't know your name yet " he sit beside me . i just realised he called me blind girl . " my name is Kim Tiha " jake nod and said " my name is Shim Jake "

" i know everyone talk about you a lot " i said to him making him nod in response

   i eat my cotton candy feeling the sugar rush . " its been so long since i eat cotton candy " i smile sadly . " why ? " he said while eating his cotton candy beside me .

     " well i use to eat with park rohee . she was my best friend but since i got blind she don't want to be friend with me anymore " i pout . " that's fine she's not worth it . at least you still have mari and nara " he said trying to make me happy . i smile at him " i love them so much "

" so who do you live with ?" he said .

" i live alone . my mom died due to cancer and my dad...."

" what ? " jake sounds concern and curiousity is bugging him . " my dad is in the prison forever " jake softly pat my back to comfort me because i have been through a lot . " im sorry for asking " he said and i turn to him , i smile . " that's okay i bet there's a lot of question that you want to ask me more "

" no i don't want to ask anymore but if you want to talk about it i can be a great listener " his voice said calmly and his words is very comforting .

"tell me where you live . i'll walk you home " jake said . he help me get up from the bench .

" thank you for today jake even when you act like a brat this morning " i smile at him . i stick my hand out signalling him to shake hands with me . " friends ?" i ask but he quickly shake his hand with me . " friends " he answer my question .

" see you tomorrow then " jake said and we say goodbye to each other

    "why are you smiling tiha ?" mari said while i hear nara's munching on her bread cause she woke up late so she decided to eat her breakfast before class starts . " no im not" i stop smiling causing mari to be more curious and she squinted her eyes . " there's definitely something going on " mari whisper to nara as nara nod her head while eating

   " do you think i can't hear what you said " i said to mari as her eyes widened , forgot that my ears is very sensitive . " well its kinda sus seeing you smiling at yourself . you never smile without a reason " she explains to me

     " well today and for the first time i smile for no reason " i laugh at her and she roll her eyes playfully . then i hear nara choke on her bread . " nara are you okay ?!" mari ask worriedly while nara's finger pointing at our class door . " what happen guys ?" i said not knowing anything .
 
     " jake got transferred into our class ! " nara said loudly causing my jaw dropped and my heart thumping loudly . his scent is different today ,its not dog shampoo but some kind of cinnamon and green apple .

     " oh my god is it because of you ?!" mari shut nara's mouth with her hand because nara is very loud . mari curse nara with her eyes not wanting me to hear anything and they just curse at each other with their eyes . jake sit behind us with his friends which is our classmate jay and sunghoon . they are very close to each other actually .

    its math class now and its very boring . who likes math ? why do we need to learn math when we have calculator ? just press and you get the answer

    suddenly i feel someone throw something at me . " what the-" i said as i hear jake and his friends laughing at me . calm down tiha just don't look at them . then i feel something again then again and again . " ENOUGH " i shout causing the whole class look at me weirdly . " tiha what's wrong ? " teacher said

   " jake throw something at me " i explain to her wanting jake to get punishment from the teacher . " no im not " jake said make my mouth open wide , not believing what he just said .

"he's lying!"

" i did not !"

    " detention both of you ! mop the basketball court now " teacher said to us . i stomp my feet while walking to the basketball court . " thank god the class is very boring" jake said making me turn to him and hit him with my folding cane as i hear him saying 'ow' . " so you used me to get out of the class ?!" i shout at him

    " yes and no ?" he said , i frown at him . " what do you mean by that ? " i roll my eyes . " i thought you were bored too " i stay silent then nod my head . " you're not wrong but still we need to mop the basketball court !" i hit him

"and since when did you get bored in math class ?" tiha ask jake

"well cause im good at math so i dont have to study anymore"

" how do you know i like math" jake smirk

"well uh i know cause everyone talks about you a lot saying that your favourite subject is math " tiha touch her nape and her cheeks getting red

"ohh so you remember a small details about me" jake wiggle his eyebrow

     i roll my eyes and ask him jokingly " why are you wearing cologne today ? " jake eyes widened making him stuttering . " cmon we need to mop the basketball court " jake hold my uniform sleeves trying to avoid the question . we walk together to the basketball court quietly .

    " let me mop the floor and you sit here " jake push my shoulder down to make me sit . " what about me ?" i ask confuse . " its dangerous you might slip and fall " he said

" i don't want you to end up in hospital because of me " jake continued
