Gem and Mini's mother was part of the mafia, and their father just an IT technician at their primary school. They learnt the hard ships of life when their father was taken by the government for questioning- their mother committed suicide when they were 16 after their father's body was delivered to their door. They joined the mafia after that, and became valued assets.
