The Roses and The Lilies

𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 23－ 𝐼𝑡'𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑， 𝐼 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑒

It was silent.
Sagittarius could feel everyone's eyes on him.
Oh god he felt sick.
He swallowed.
Gem's grin grew wide as the ginger started to move.
"I- uh- hello! Um-," Sagittarius coughed.
"Yes!" Cancer whispered. He shot her a look and she shrugged, not apologetic at all.
Cap and Aqua were staring at him.
Aquarius looked soft, her eyes encouraging him. Capricorn looked surprised, but had a wide grin splayed across his face.
"I object," Sagittarius managed to get his chair out into the aisle. "Er- I would like to um maybe apologise? For being a dick and all, I just... you guys deserve better, but apparently I'm selfish, so-,"
"You're an asshole," Aquarius said fondly, walking down the aisle over to him.
"No need to apologise, Tari," Capricorn followed.
Aquarius perched herself onto his lap, and threw her arms around his shoulders.
Sagittarius laughed, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Capricorn moved behind them, and wrapped his arms around both of their necks.
"That looks like an uncomfy position, Capri," Pisces called.
He stuck his tongue out at her "fuck off, Pisce,"
"Who wins the bet?" Scorpio called, handing Draco back to Cancer.
Everyone was stood now, grinning at the trio in the aisle.
"I do," Leo raised her hand.
"Does this mean I get to go to Italy?" Gem called.
"If you want," Aries raised her eyebrow.
"I'd love to see Pompeii," her boyfriend's eyes glittered mischievously.
"Oh fuck," Virgo cursed.
"This is gonna be great!" Taurus clapped. "Shall we move out the chapel now before the guy comes back?"
"You mean the reverend?"
"Yes, that, thanks love,"

Virgo & Taurus (pretend this is in Italian)
"I think I should officiate weddings more often," Taurus proclaimed.
Virgo rolled his eyes. "You officiated one wedding. Which failed, by the way, both the bride and groom left the altar,"
"I was doing a great job!"
"Yes, dear," Virgo grinned. "Whose wedding is next?"
Taurus hummed. "Can't say. I think we'll be waiting a couple years,"
"Who will be first, d'ya reckon?" Virgo dropped his voice to a whisper.
"Leo and Pisces," Taurus whispered back.
"Good shout,"
They danced in silence for a moment.
"Virgo?"
"Yes, dear?"
Taurus stopped dancing and looked up at his husband.
Virgo quirked a brow.
"I know you do questionable, bad things," Taurus started.
"I told you this as we started dating, please don't tell me you've got cold feet now,"
Taurus rolled his eyes. "I love you, you prick. I don't think I say it enough. Thank you for everything, my love. You've given me a family, and I am so thankful,"
"You've given me more, I can assure you," Virgo murmured. Their foreheads touched. "I love you, Taur,"
"Love you, V,"

Scorpio & Cancer
"It's funny, you know," she murmured as they danced.
Her husband looked down at her quizzically. "What is?"
"How you were so adamant you weren't going to truly trust the Italians, yet here you are, letting Libra hold our baby," she grinned.
Scorpio rolled his eyes. "You've softened me it seems, love,"
"Oh that's not true," her eyes twinkled. "You've always been a softie. Not a great thing to be, as a trained killer,"
"Oh, shut up," he grumbled, resting their foreheads together.
She laughed.
"I'm thankful, I managed to get you," he whispered. "You mean the world to me. You and Draco,"
"I should hope so,"
"Have you called your mum?"
She scrunched up her face. "Mama has a new boyfriend, so she hasn't been calling me much,"
"Need me to kill him?" Her husband offered.
"No, I don't think it'll last. I'll call her later. I haven't seen her in a while,"
"A year,"
"Has it been that long?" Her eyes widened. "Oh, dammit,"
"You gotta cut down on the cursing, Cance, we have a baby now," he teased.
"Lucky I love you," she humphed. "Should we go get Draco? I think it's his bedtime,"
"Sure, cmon," he let their arms drop, placed his right hand on her back and they walked over to Libra and Draco.

Gem & Aries
"You really up for moving to an entire new country then, huh, babe?" Aries raised an eyebrow.
The two were not dancing, but instead by the food table.
"Oh yeah, I love adventures," Gem grinned. "It's gonna be so fun,"
"You want to really take that step... with me?"
Gem looked down at her.
Her eyebrows were knitted together and she was studying him closely.
"Course. Like I said, I love adventures," he swung an arm around her shoulders. "You're gonna have to help me with the language though, gotta say,"
"What about mini?"
"My sister is very capable. Plus, she's preoccupied with her whole Ophi thing she thinks no one knows about,"
Aries choked. "What?"
Gem's eyes lit up. "You don't know? Okay, so, gossip time, come closer so I can whisper in your ear,"

Leo & Pisces (pretend it's in Italian)
"We are definitely going out now, right?" Pisces grinned up at Leo as they danced.
"Only if you want to," Leo replied, twirling Pisces.
Pisces laughed delightedly and staggered when she came to a stop. "Oh, of course, boss," she teased. "Now let me spin you,"
Leo smiled and let herself be spun.
Dancing was freeing, especially with Pisces. She could relax here.
"You're having fun," Pisces cheered.
"Always am, if I'm with you," Leo said softly.
Pisces flushed. "Oh, stop it you,"
"I was really scared," Leo murmured. "When you were gone,"
"Psh, the Scots are all softies," Pisces waved her concern away. "And I knew you and the others were gonna come and get me,"
"You're always right,"
"Always," Pisces nodded. "So, where should our first date be?"
"When we get home. Let's go out for ice cream,"
"Oh, I love ice cream!" Pisces squealed.
"I know," Leo winked. "Then we can go on a walk after, across the river,"
"You do know the way into a girl's heart,"
"I only wish to know the way to yours,"
"Ok that was awful,"
"Oh, I know, I apologise,"
They laughed.

Capricorn & Sagittarius & Aquarius
"I'm so glad you interrupted that," Aquarius was sat on a chair, peeling her heels off her feet.
Sagittarius was beside her, and Capricorn was perched on a table.
"You don't want to marry me then?" Capricorn faux-gasped.
Aquarius flipped him off.
"You really want me?" Sagittarius asked softly.
"Yes, you prick. Get that through your thick skull," Aquarius rolled her eyes. "Honestly,"
"I knew you'd come around," Cap tapped his fingers against the table.
"Oh, you liar!" Sagittarius retorted. "I know I was like, terrified, but I could see the shock in your eyes,"
"Traitor," Capricorn stuck his tongue out.
"You had no faith in me," Sagittarius continued. "It was very hurtful," he mock pouted.
Aquarius sniggered as Capricorn sighed.
"What have I gotten myself into?" He groaned.
"You love us," Aquarius said. "You're staying, right?"
"Of course I am. Why is that a question?" Capricorn demanded. "You're both here, I don't want to go to Italy if you're not,"
"Oh, you sap,"
"I'm not a tree, Tari," 

Ophichius & Mini
They were dancing very stoically. Prim and proper, like how they were taught.
"Your brother's going then," Ophichius broke the silence.
Mini stared up at him. "Good riddance, I say,"
"Liar,"
"He is an adult, he'll be fine," Mini dismissed.
"He's still your brother. Your twin brother," Ophichius wheedled.
"What do you want from me?" Mini harrumphed.
"Admit you're going to miss him,"
"Of course I am. He's my brother. But I think I'll be okay," Mini grumbled. "Asshole,"
"Me or Gem?"
"Both,"
"Hurtful. I am your boss, you know?"
"You couldn't do anything without me and you know it,"
Ophichius let his arms drop.
Mini looked at him quizzically.
"You're such a pain," he complained, before bending down and kissing her on the mouth.

Libra & baby Draco
"So, I'm you're auntie Libra, I won't be around a lot cause I live in another country, but I'm gonna always be there for you, no matter what," Libra proclaimed, swaying from side to side to the music.
Draco babbled in response, tugging at her necklace.
"No, bad baby,"
He stuck his tongue out.
She reciprocated the action.
"Gah!" Draco whined.
"Oh, don't cry! You're fine, there there," Libra rocked him hastily. "It'll be good, I promise,"
He blinked up at her.
"It, as in... uh... life... in general?"

Author's note:
And this is where we come to the end.
It's been a long ride, thanks to those who've stuck through it.
It got really really sappy and cringe towards the end but I thought it would be a nice conclusion.
