Chapter 6 - Princess

I caught up to Snape in the corridor. We continued walking in silence until we reached Dumblebitch's office. Professor knocked and we heard a voice say come in.
As we walked in Dumbledore said "Ah Miss Malfoy please take a seat" pointing to the seat opposite him. I sat down quietly.
"So Miss Malfoy it has come to my attention you got a couple detentions today"
"Yeah" I said bored "what about them?"
"Well seeing as you have gotten eight in one day we will have to report this to both your parents" My mouth hung open.
"What?" I said angrily knowing what would happen when they tell my farther.
"I'm sorry but we have to it's the school policy. I hope you can understand"
"NO! I don't fucking understand! Why do you have to tell them?" I shouted standing up.
"Please just sit down"
"No you know what tell them I don't care" I said laughing sarcastically. I started walking out as both Snape and Dumbledoor shouted after me. I ignored them and went straight back to the common room just wanting to sleep.

As I entered with an angry look on my face. Draco looked up and saw me. He ran over to me while asking what happened making everyone look at me. All I could do was hug him. It was weird. I never hug anyone they hug me. I pulled away. Matheo was on my other side with his hand on my shoulder.
"What happened Daphne?" He asked. I looked at him in the eyes and looked down.
"They're going to tell father" I say quietly trying to calm myself down.
"What are they going to tell them D?" Draco asked softly trying not to get mad.
"They're going to tell him I got eight detentions today" I say looking at Draco with a straight face. He looked so pissed but sympathetic at the same time.
"What's the problem with that? What is he just gonna yell at you aww poor you" Mattheo says sarcastically. I looked at him annoyed. I thought we were kinda becoming acquaintances or something, I guess not. I ran to my dorm not wanting to speak to anyone.
"Why the fuck would you say that!" Draco shouted at Mattheo running after me. I shut the door in his face locking it and falling down the door.
"Cmon D. Open the door" he said softly trying not to get me more angry. I think I might have an anger issue. I didn't say anything. All he could hear was me throwing things and he couldn't help but cry a little and walk out of the common room. He felt bad for me he really did.

After a few minutes Abigail and Pansy came to the door and knocked softly.
"Can we come in?" Pansy asks. I got up out of my bed unlock the door and get back into bed. Pansy and Abigail entered along side with Enzo and Mattheo. I looked at Mattheo dead in the eyes.
"Get out" I say looking down.
"Oh cmon D, don't be like that" he said chuckling a little.
"Get out" I shouted pulling the quilt over my head.
"Fine" he sighed walking out closing the door behind him.
"Where's Draco?" I ask
"We don't know" Abigail says
"He left and hasn't come back yet" Enzo said cutting Abigail off. They all climbed into my bed and comforted me not saying anything.

An hour passed and someone bursts in getting the attention of everyone. It was Mattheo and Draco. Draco was drunk.
"He was about to start a fight" Mattheo said angrily putting him in an arm chair.
"What the fuck Draco" I say getting out of bed and walking over to him.
"What" he says slurring acting like nothing just happened.
I sigh "why did you get drunk and nearly start a fight"
"Because I felt like it" he shouted making me flinch.
"I'm sorry D-" he says standing up.
I cut him off "no Draco just-just shut up and get out!" I shout.
Then he did the unthinkable. He slapped me. Right across the face.
"Don't tell me what to do" he shouts at me making me flinch again.
I just looked at him holding my cheek with a shocked expression.
"What the fuck dude" Mattheo shouted. I didn't say anything else I just ran off with everyone shouting after me. I ran for ages letting my legs take me wherever they wanted again.

I ended up at the astronomy tower with my legs dangling and smoking. I looked out at the night stary sky blowing out smoke when I heard someone coming up.
"Go away" I say putting the cigarette back in my mouth.
"Not gonna happen princess"  they said as they sat next to me. It gave me chills down my spine.
I knew who it was.
"Please just leave me alone riddle" I said blowing out more smoke.
"Again, not gonna happen" he says taking the cigarette out of my hand and smoking it. We sat in silence for awhile smoking the cigarette back and forth until you couldn't anymore.
"Cmon let's get you to bed" he said standing up and picking me up bridal style.
"Hmm" I all I said before falling asleep.

Mattheo's POV
She fell asleep in my arms. But all I could think about was how Draco could do that to her, she didn't deserve it. She looks like she has been through enough.

I entered the common room with her still in my arms and everyone came over circling us. Except Draco of course, he passed out.
"Is she ok?" Abigail and Pansy asked. They really care about her. Not as much as me though.
"Yeah, she's fine she just fell asleep" I said walking to her dorm. I opened the door and placed Daphne in her bed and put the quilt over her.

As I was about to leave I felt a hand touch mine. I looked back to see her holding my hand saying "don't go. Please. I-I don't want to be alone"
she still had her eyes closed.
"Are you sure" I asked whispering.
"Yes"
"Ok" I said walking around the bed taking my shoes off and climbing into her bed. She turned around facing me and put her head on my chest.
"Thank you" she said quietly before she fell back sleep.

A few minutes later the door opened revealing two girls. Abigail and Pansy. They both looked at me confused seeing their best friend cuddled up to me.
"She didn't want to be alone" I said looking down at her and kissing her head. Before falling asleep myself.
