Chapter 31 - Bringing Back The Past

Daphne's POV
Saturday was growing closer and closer. I'm very rarely scared but this really scared me. I didn't want to do it.

I woke up to Pansy and Abigail screaming at me to get up. I got ready for the day and we left to the great hall for breakfast, even though I don't eat. I haven't in a few weeks. I was sat next to Mattheo and we were all talking over Dumblebitch as he was trying to make an announcement.
He kept telling us to be quiet but we weren't until we heard him say "we have a new student"
This intrigued us so we started to listen.
"Please welcome Ben Gaunt"
My heart dropped.
"What" I say angrily.
As he walked in I stood up. He looked at me smirked and continued walking up to the sorting hat. I sat back down.
"Slytherin" it shouted.
He walked over to us and sat down in front of me.
"Nice to see you again Malfoy" says smirking at me.
"Fuck off Gaunt"
"Woah no need to be so aggressive sweet heart"
"The fuck you calling sweet heart. I for sure hope it's not me or we are going to have a problem"
"Don't we already have one" he says "sweet heart"
He pisses me off so much. I got up and tried to climb over the table to punch him in the face but Mattheo held me back.
"Get the fuck off me" I shout struggling to get out of his arms.
He put my over his shoulder and walked out of the great hall.
"Put me down" I say.
"Only if you promise not to run back in there" he says.
Hesitantly, I say "I promise"
As soon as he put me down, I ran straight back in there. I ran up to him and punched him in the face, breaking his nose. There was so much blood oozing out of his nose. I was again held back by Mattheo.
"Bitch" I shout at Ben before leaving the hall. Everyone was staring at me but I didn't care. They could stare all they want.
"Hey" Mattheo shouts running towards me "what the fuck happened in there"
"Nothing don't worry" I say still walking away.
He grabbed my arm.
"Who is that guy"
"My ex ok. He's my ex"
"What happened between you two"
"He cheated on me" I say "with my ex best friend"
"That mother fucker" he says before walking away.
Oh shit. Well I'm not gonna miss this fight. I ran after him going back into the great hall. He continually punched him in the face until Blaise and Theodore pulled him off as this random Slytherin rushed Ben to the infirmary.
"Now that was entertaining" I say before me and Mattheo walked out.

Me and Mattheo were in potions. He still had some blood on him from this morning. This class was boring so I was going to ditch.
"I think that's a good idea darling" Mattheo says looking at me and putting a hand on my thigh.
I looked at him and smiled. We quickly ran out of the class hand in hand as Professor Snape shouted after us. We were running to the common room still hand in hand. We reached his dorm.
"You still have blood on you, you know" i say tracing an old scar on his face "let me clean you up"
I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the bathroom. I got up onto the sink counter, he stood in between my legs with his hands on my waist and I started to wipe away the blood off his face with a wet towel. The whole time he just stared at me. It was a cute stare.
"Why are you looking at me like that" I say stopping.
"Because you're gorgeous and I love you"
"I love you too" I say before kissing him and then continuing to wipe away the blood.
For the rest of the lesson we were just cuddled up in his bed, talking.
"I'm gonna marry you some day" he says.
I prop my head up on his chest looking into his eyes.
"Oh yeah" I say "when's some day"
"A day where we can be us and there would be no danger. A day where we could be together 24/7 and never have to worry about anything"
"You're so cute" I say messing with his fluffy brown hair.
"Hey hey hey" he says "don't touch my precious hair"
We laughed and I lay back down on his chest as he twirls my hair around his fingers.

At the end of the day, we were all in the common room talking. I was sat on Mattheo's lap in the arm chair while everyone was sat on the couches.
"How about we play truth or dare" Pansy says.
Everyone agreed.
"I'll go first" I say "Truth or dare Blaise"
"Dare"
"I dare you to make out with Pansy"
They kinda grew apart after I left and I feel bad. They were such a cute couple I want them to be together again.
Pansy stood up and sat on his lap, straddling him. They made out for a couple minutes before Pansy strutted back over to her seat. We continued playing for a couple minutes before the one person I didn't want to see came up to us.
"Hey guys"
No one said anything to him. They didn't like him because I didn't. They still didn't know what happened though.
"Woah tough crowd"
"You aren't welcome here" Mattheo says glaring at him "you should leave"
"Why should I leave im allowed to be here" he says.
"Whatever" I say.
"So what are we doing" Ben says.
"We are playing truth or dare you can go do your own thing" Abigail says.
"Nah I think I'll join you" he says "Daphne truth or dare"
"Truth"
"Is it true that you're a whore"
I just gave him a death stare.
"Don't talk to my girlfriend like that" Mattheo says angrily.
"Woah girlfriend? Never thought anyone else would date that slut"
Mattheo picked me up and placed me on the arm chair before walking up to him and putting him up against a wall by his collar.
"Don't call her that ever again"
"Or what" he laughs.
"I will kill you"
"No you won't"
"You do realise who he is right" Blaise says.
"No" he says confused "who are you"
Mattheo did his smirk "Mattheo Riddle" he says.
Bens whole mood changed.
"Riddle? As in-"
"Yes as in The dark lord" I say smirking.
"So you might not wanna mess with me or my girl. Got that" Mattheo says.
Ben nodded his head before Mattheo let go of his collar making him fall to the floor. He walked back to me, picking me up and setting me back on his lap straddling him. He placed a hand on my cheek and kissed me passionately but roughly making Ben jealous. He left after that. We played truth or dare the whole night.
