~Hazel's pov:~

I found out where we live. We don't live close to Asher sadly. If I did visit him, it would be 2h 46m to get from Osaka to Yokohama, including transfers. Yes, I do live in Osaka. We don't go to the same school or anything. I'll probably go see him this weekend. I sighed, as I got out of my bed. We don't sleep on the ground, like they do. We're not from here. I sighed and went to my closet. I get to dress up how I want, till I get to school and get my uniform. I'm excited to wear a uniform.

I put on a tee-shirt, blue skinny jean, and did my hair in a ponytail today.

I made my bed, brushed my teeth, and went down stairs. As soon as I walked down stairs, I saw Gray, my mother, and my grandparents. "Good morning!" Gray yelled at me, wearing the navy blue hat our mother knitted for him. "Morning" I speak bluntly back. He smiled. "Morning sweetie," both grandparents, and my mother says. I smiled back at them. We all say grace and eat breakfast. I would sometimes join the conversation, but it was nothing important for me to pay attention to.

"Bye mom! Bye papaw, bye mama!" Me and Gray yell in unison as we put on our shoes. We walked out to see Kana waiting for us. I looked at her in shock. 'Why the hell did she wait for us?! Well, me!' I thought to myself. I smiled at her. Gray looked up at me, "Who's that?" He asked, pointing to Kana. Kana smiled. "I'm Kana Shi! Well, the way we say it is, ''Shi Kana!" She said way too excited. He smiled. "Well, then I'm Raves Gray!" They both laughed. "Nice to meet you Gray," she smiled at him. "Nice to meet you too," they both shook hands; greeting each other.

"The middle school is right next to the high-school. So you won't have any trouble, Gray." She looked down at him and smiled. "Okie dokie!" He shouted, giving her thumbs up. We started walking together. 'Gray likes her, doesn't he?' I thought quietly to myself. I smiled knowing that he likes the neighbor. I'm glad he likes someone older than him. As long as he doesn't actually have a crush on her..

"Hazel! Join our conversation," Gray whined. I shook my head 'no.' "Please!" He begged again. "Anata ga watashitachi no kaiwa ni sanka surunara, watashi wa hontōni sore ga daisukidesu;" Kana whined. I looked at her confused. I arched an eyebrow at her. Gray started laughing. I sighed. "Fine! I will..." I mumbled the last part. "Yay!" Gray shouted, Kana smiled at me. As we started walking off to school...

We walked Gray to the middle school first. Which is actually right next to the high-school? Apparently he is almost in elementary school, but since he's really smart he has been put up a grade up. So, that's why he's in seventh grade. Junior high. Then we headed to the high-school. In high-school here, there's only three years. Which isn't that bad? Plus here, school is only six and half hours. If I went to America still, it would be eight hours. Japan has its cons, don't get me wrong. But with school hours? It's amazing! Everything about school is. Some schools have to go to school on Saturday. Lucky me, I don't have to.

"Are you excited, Hazel?!" Kana asked me. "So-so," I paused, and looked down at my feet. I then looked back up at her and smiled; "some things are exciting. I did research, some schools have their cons, and everything always has its cons. But, I think it will be a good year." I smiled at her again, she nodded. "It's good you might like school here. The-" she paused. I arched an eyebrow at her. She smiled and started walking a little faster to high-school. I sighed and ignored her.
