Chapter 11 Why Would he?

~Gray's Pov:~

'I hope Kona is alright.' I walked around the bedroom, my heart racing fast. She better have not done anything stupid! We need her. I need her! She's all our mothers here. She better have not done anything stupid. I clenched my fist. I started to cry. I then hear someone come in; I quickly wipe my tears. "Gray! Come out here! We're going to play "Mario Kart!''" I looked at the white-haired man. "Alright! I'm coming! Who's all playing!" He smirked. "Me, you, Asher, and Kana." I then arched an eyebrow. "Hazel not playing today?" I asked him, and he shook his head. "Well! Eat my fist!" I yelled, rushing to the living room. He chuckled.

~Kana's Pov:~

"How did Gray beat me!?" I yelled out. He just chuckled. "I'm the master! You can even say I'm the king! Beat that!" He yelled at me, sticking his tongue out. "OH! You're getting it!" I yelled at him, he smirked at me."Gureireibu! Mariokāto de watashi o taosu nante aete! Watashi wa anata no jōshidesu! Anata mo watashi o taosu koto ga dekinai hazu desu!" He looked at me confused, and scared. Then he stuck his tongue out. I rolled my eyes. I then felt someone hit my head. I look back to see Asher...

"You guys should really stop acting like children!" He scolded us. "Shut up Ass! You're not even a part of this!!" I could see a tick mark on his face. "Did you call me Ass?! That's it!" He started to chuckle. I then quickly put my remote down and started running for my life. "Be careful Kana!" Gray yelled out, laughing at the scene. "Fuck you too!" I yelled back at him. Shin and Hazel laughed at us. I ran towards my room and locked the bedroom door. I then hide under the bed.

I then heard him come in. "Come out Kana! My love!" I felt the heat rise to my face. 'Did he call me "my love!?' I started freaking out on the inside. "I'm not your lover!" I yelled. Shit... That's what he wanted! He looked under the bed, "Found you, lover." He smirked, then started laughing, while my cheeks were bright red. "You're a jerk!" I yelled out. He then grabbed my arms, then he pulled me up from under the bed. "Thank you" I mumbled. "You're very welcome, my love." I rolled my eyes. "Not your lover, I'm your friend." I bluntly stated. "Ouch, I just got friend zone! Ah!" He yelled, then fell, like he had a heart attack. "Smart ass" I bluntly stated.

I then stood up, to feel someone grab my leg. "Stand" was all he said. I looked down at him, confused. 'Why did his whole mood change?' I thought to myself. "I want you to stand with me," I arched an eyebrow. "Why? I thought I was annoying" I rolled my eyes. "I want you to be mine" he states. I gasped at his statement. "Huh?!" Was all I could say. I then sit down, looking at the redhead. "Did I hear you right?" My face felt like a tomato. He nodded. I gasped. The other night he turned me down! Well actually! Last night he did! I think?! I don't even remember?! My heart started racing real fast. AH! Does he really want me!? Or is he just messing with me?!

"I really do want you, I just thought you only wanted me because Yuko died," he paused. "That's why I said no," he then sat down with me, looking into my black eyes. My breathing hardened. "Are you sure you want someone like me?" He smiled softly. "Yeah, I do." Was all he said. I wanted to cry. Never in my life has anyone wanted me. The only other person who has wanted me was my dad, even Hazel didn't want to befriend me at first. I acted wild, crazy, childish, immature, and many other things... But all I ever wanted was love. I've felt a father's love, yes, but I wanted a mother's love, I wanted people at school to like me, not make fun of me. I wanted to be accepted for who I am.

He grabbed my check, pulling me closer to his face. My face started to heat up. He then pressed his rough lips on mine. We started to kiss each other passionately. His hands went down to my curves, pulling me closer. Then Hazel walked in on us, making us stop. She stood there shocked. "Um, congratulations?" She said, in a confused tone. "Hazel, we-" she cut him off. "We all knew you liked each other! Finally! You guys got together! I got to tell everyone about this!" She yelled, leaving the room happily.
