~Shinjiro's Pov:~
I couldn't sleep. Even though it was an hour early, I switched spots with her. I could hear hers and Suki's conversation. She probably thought I was asleep, good reason to. I sighed. I looked over at the black haired girl, and smiled softly at her. She was out like a light. Her eyes are so red and puffy. It must be hard for her. She watched her brother die, right in front of her. That's going to unpack lots of trauma. If she even survives. Which, I know she will. She wouldn't easily give up. But I do wonder, what does he mean "To make a piece of art, you require a reference?" I sighed, not putting any more thought into it. I sat in the dark, time went by quickly. I eventually did fall asleep while I was on guard.

I woke up to Kana shaking me awake. "Huh?" I groaned, looking at the blueneet, and the black hair girl. "We're making a promise." Hazel was taken back from the news, and so was I. "A promise?" Hazel asked. Kana nodded her head. "We're all going to make it out of here alive! I promise. I'll do anything to protect you guys." She smiled, we heard a light groan from Asher. Itsuki cleaned him and bandaged him before putting him in here. He said, "Don't want this piece of art to die yet." I don't think any of us have paid attention to the surroundings here. Which is a plain room, with only one bed. Which we gave to Asher.
"Why are you trying to make a promise, Kana?" Asher asked the girl. She blushed.
She turned her body around, where it was facing Asher. She smiled at him, standing up, where all of us could see her. "I'm promising everyone right here and now, I'll do my best to protect you! So we all can make it out alive!" She exclaims, while clasping her hands together. We were all taken aback by the girl's words. Hazel stands up, walking towards Kana, and putting her hand on her shoulder. She looked at Kana, "That's a big responsibility. Are you sure you can do it alone?" She questions the blueneet. She nodded. "I owe everyone this," she smiles once again. Hazel sighed. "You're going to get yourself killed with these big responsibilities, but," Hazel paused, looking at me, then Asher. "If you can handle it, go for it. Don't get yourself killed though!" She scolds her, roughing up her hair. "Hey!" Kana shouts at Hazel, making us all laugh.
Asher then started coughing, I got up and ran towards his aid, so did Kana and Hazel. "You okay?" I asked him. He nodded, putting a fake smile on. "Okie dokie!" He exclaims. I arched an eyebrow at him, (a habit I picked up from Hazel if you couldn't notice.)
I looked at his hand, I could see blood trying to escape his hand. I quickly grab his hand, forcing it open to see blood. We all gasped. Asher looked away from us, in an ashamed state. "Asher! Why did you try and hide this from us?!" Kana yelled at him, trying not to cry. He smiled at her, " I didn't want to worry you guys. You're already worried enough," he mumbled the last part. Kana slapped his face. He gasped, putting his other hand over his cheek. "That didn't hurt. If you weren't in a bad state, I would have slapped harder!" She cried out, tears pouring from her black eyes. "I'm sorry Kana, I didn't think this would affect you that bad," he mumbled again. "Of course it would affect me!" She yelled at him. She calmed herself down before saying this next part to him, in a sweet tone.
"I love you. Of course I'm going to be worried." His eyes widened real big. "You actually love me?" He barely choked out, Kana nodded. "Of course silly!" Me and Hazel smiled from the scene set in front of us.
Speaking of love, I like Hazel more than a friend. I'll never act on them though. She doesn't seem like the person to be in a relationship.
We then heard Suki come in. "Aw, how sweet!" He said sarcastically. "Love is such a nice thing. Too bad you guys won't live long enough to get married and have kids!" He laughed out, I averted my eyes away from him. I don't want to believe he killed all of our friends, but he has. I can't accept that. It's too hard to swallow. I've known him my whole life!
