ELODIE HOVERED AT THE EDGE OF THE KITCHEN, observing the chaos that had erupted from a stray firework exploding in Percy's mashed potatoes. She'd only been sleeping a matter of hours, but it looked like the twins had found a way to entertain themselves. The table was coated with white mush, and ginny was whining about it getting in her hair.
"You tossers did that on purpose!" Percy shouted, lumps of potato dripping off his ears and nose.
"We can't help it if -"
"You can't get the spoon to your mouth." The twins said, finishing each others sentence, a devilish smirk on their identical faces. Ramona, who was sitting rather closely to Percy, was laughing. All while trying to help him clean his face. Percy's face was getting red as she did.
Elodie smiles despite being taken aback by how comfortable her sister looks.
She then snickers when she hears Mrs. Weasley is starting to scold the twins. She giggles at the scene, attracting the attention of the room and cheeky grins from the boys.Molly scowled at them before stalking across the kitchen and ushering Elodie further in.
"Did you sleep alright, dear? Seems we tired you out?" If only you knew... Elodie thought. Knowing she hasn't slept well since Remus left the castle. It gave her a little solace when she was at the castle. Knowing that he'd at least been there and now that he's far away, it's even worse.
But instead of confessing, which would cause a whole bunch of other chaos. She squeezed Mrs. Weasley hand, stopping her from brushing her arm. "Yes, ma'am. It's just that this year has been... stressful, to say the least."
"Oh, I'm sure it is, with that Sirius Black running around, but it'll get better, dear." Mrs. Weasley says in a hushed tone, to not cause attention to their topic of conversation.
"Oi, mum, Elodie, what are you to whispering about." Fred yelled, drawing attention to elodie and Mrs. Weasley. She rolls her eyes playfully at them. While Mrs. Weasley scowled, "It none of your business."
She then turns back to Elodie with a smile. Till this day, it's still amusing to her how Mrs. Weasley could change her mood so quickly. Especially when it comes to her children. She's knocked out of her thoughts when Mrs. Weasley says, "Come now, Elodie, have a seat then." Elodie nods before taking a seat next to Charlie.
They smile at each other and then turn away. She still remembers a time when she had the biggest crush on Charlie. But as she looks at him now, it seems it was a long time ago. Like she was just a silly kid with a childhood crush. When in reality it was a year ago that she would be at a Weasley dinner. Smiling awkwardly at him while being silently teased by the twins.
But now she has a whole other situation going on. That she couldn't even explain to herself. Let alone anyone else. Instead, she decided to brush that from her mind and focus on now. Because it has so long since she's been with the Weasley's, and there's no way Elodie's going to miss it.

She was enjoying herself, and surprisingly, so was Ramona. Who in past years got kind of freaked out at the thought of magic. Elodie didn't even know Ms. Weasley exiting the room. That is until Elodie hears, "Remus! it's been quite a long time, so I'm glad you could make it!"
Elodie instantly stopped what she was doing. Her eyes grew wide as she thought. This is going to be a shiteshow. . .

Hey guys, I know this chapter's is short and it's been a while. . . I've kind of been on a hiatus. Because I have college and work and a lot of other things. So things have been hectic. But I promise you from here on there will be regular updates. I'm not sure what day. But look forward to more of 'running with wolves'
