WHEN ELODIE MADE IT INTO THE COMMON ROOM, she was still reeling from what happened.

Elodie had one thought on her mind. Go to sleep and maybe it'll be like it never happened tomorrow. But she couldn't. It's like she could still feel him touching her. Like she was still reliving the moment over and over. Penelope tried to check on her once during the night. But no matter how much she tried to say what happened. It was like the words weren't coming out.

So there she was, staring at the ceiling. Before she knew it, morning had arrived. Sleep finally came to her, and just that she was about to close her eyes. The curtains around her bed were ripped open. She jumped.

"Ellie, you have to get up, you've already missed breakfast and we have transfiguration soon."

She looks over and nods utterly exhausted. She finally wills herself to say, "I'll meet you in the common room." Penelope who looks amused replies. "Be quick, El." Suddenly Penelope was gone. Merlin, she's quick. She thinks to herself amused by her best friend. Elodie hurriedly gets dressed. She probably doesn't look her best as she didn't get any sleep last night. Her cat then decided to meow at her. She smiles and goes to pet her.

"Hope you have a better day than me, Thilda."

With that said, she grabs her things and runs down to the common room. "There you are, we're going to be late! And you know how McGonagall is about tardiness." Penelope says, grabbing her arm. She tenses at being touched for maybe a few seconds. Before looking up to remind herself it's only Penelope.

_______

Surprisingly, they weren't late. The two girls were right on time even. Still, transfiguration was a nightmare. Not because she hated the subject. In fact, it is her favorite class. She also holds great respect for McGonagall. The problem was him. He sat at the tables directly next to herself and George. He gave her dirty looks all of class. Constantly sending her notes, calling her names. By the end of class, she was shaking again.

All she wanted to do was cry or run as far away as she could. But if she did that people would know. She couldn't stand it if people knew. So she willed herself to calm down. Watching as he exited the classroom with his Slytherin posse. Feeling slightly safer that George was next to her as he walked past.

George, Elodie, Penelope, and Fred finally made their way out of the classroom. George holds out his hand for Penelope. Who takes it his hand eagerly. Elodie smiles, happy that her friends are happy. They didn't make it far before the blonde boy stopped them. After trying to get their attention. It was that boy, Andre.

"Apologies for bothering you, but I would like to ask Elodie something." He says sheepishly,  his accent quite thick. "Go on," Elodie says softly. She doesn't tell her friends to leave. Because she doesn't want to be alone. Especially after what happened. "Miss Elodie, would you do me the honor of attending the Yule Ball with me."

She's then frozen. Not sure if she's in shock or if she's triggered by those words. Bringing up the memory of what happened. For a solid minute, she's silent. Penelope, who doesn't notice her tenseness, nudges her. She leans over to Elodie and whispers, "El are you going to answer him or not?"
