[Morning, In the forest]
Iori and Leo were moving up the hill while carrying Several Pieces of chopped wood for the fire place in a backpack style.
"Damn. Today sure feels really nice." Iori commented.
"Yup. Fresh air. Birds singing. Flowers being colorful. Not even a cloud in the air to block out the sunshine." Leo commented too
"And (Y/N) is gonna make something delicious again when we get back. Today really IS nice compared to how usually we are at the morning."
"Yeah! (Y/N) is gonna make something Good per usual! Can't wait!" Iori said with Excitement, while thinking about the kind of food you'll make soon.
"...hey wait...I think we're forgetting something." Iori said
"Leo don't you think we forgot something?"
"Hm? Wait....I think your right." Leo admitted that they forgot something
"...hey hang on. Where's the Rookie?"
"The rookie? Was she right behind us?" Iori asked
"Wait hang on."
They both looked down the hill they were walking up from, and the Rookie they thought they left behind
"Wait. There she is." Iori pointed down the hill toward their new recruit.
"I think she's Already having trouble to walk all the way up here with all those chopped wood on her back."
Leo looked back and saw what Iori meant
"Oh guess you were right." He then raised his voice so the Rookie could hear them
"Hey!! Rookie!! Hurry it up you're already slowly us down!!"
"Sorry!!!" Seryu apologized as she ran up to the two boys, while panting for air
"I kind of stopped to catch my breath."
"Well your gonna have to start building up more stamina for here on out. Because We do a lot of long walks like this a lot." Leo warned
"Alright!" Seryu said
"And if you fall behind again we're leaving you behind so watch out Rookie." Iori said teasingly.
"O-Okay..." Seryu said taking his joke threat seriously
"Let's just go before (Y/N) decides to eat our share again." Leo said not wanting to stay hungry for the rest of the day.
[At the hideout]
"We're back." Leo said as He, Iori and Seryu walked in from the back door that was in the kitchen. They laid all the chopped wood they carried all the way.
"Ah. Welcome back." Kainer spoke as he was already in the kitchen.
"I take it you all got the wood?"
"All of 'em" Iori answered as they rested the chopped wood next to the oven.
"Good. And Seryu, your dismissed for now. Try to find something to do here if you want to keep yourself busy." Kainer said addressing the Rookie.
"Yes sir!" Seryu said with a salute, and walked out of the kitchen.
"...So. what do you two think of the Rookie so far?" The boss asked the two boys when he made sure Seryu was far away
"She's actually pretty strong. She actually managed to carry a lot more weight than the amount we were carrying all the way here." Leo reported
"Yeah but she stopped on the way at one point and was almost left behind when she tried to catch her breath a little." Iori said
"So I'd say, she just needs some stamina training if she wants to keep up with us better."
"Good to know. Now, about our next Issue." Kainer said
"...We don't have anymore rooms."
"Huh?" Both boys said in sync
