Ugh I need water. My throat is really dry, because I guess I'm a mouth breather... oh well. I get out of bed, and my speech for Brandon is ready in my head when I get down to the kitchen. I really need the water. I look up and I don't get what I see. I rub my eyes, and scream. I can't believe it. Why would they do this to me? Ah! Brandon and Jacklin are kissing on my kitchen counter. She has him against the wall, and he is kissing her forcefully. I look around, trying to sink in what is happening, I see my mother. We might not have gotten along, but seriously? Who would do this? I scream again. Once Jacklin finally see's I'm here, she smiles and keeps kissing him. Her eyes flicker towards me, and she mocks me again.

"I love you Brandon." I hate her. I want to go over there and smack that smile off of her face, but my body is stuck.

"I love you too, Jacklin." All I'm seeing is red. I scream so loud, that Jacklin puts her hands over her ears. I stop and focus on my mother again, and Jacklin goes back to putting her hands on Brandon's chest.

"Lilly, honey please wake up. Lilly..." My moms words wake me, and I am covered in sweat.

"Oh, sorry mom, I need a shower." I say, and start climbing out of bed.

"Ugh, Lilly, its three in the morning..." I look at her and sigh. Right... Ok, sorry see you in the morning." She nods and walks out of the room. I climb back into bed, and try to watch the sun come up. I fail, and I drift off to sleep, again.

When I get to school, I park in my usual spot, and get out. What I don't see coming is Jacklin, Melanie and their whole posse outside of my car. I ask what, and they look at each other and smile. I roll my eyes and start to walk away, but Melanie calls my name.

"So, where are Tucker and Zane? Aren't they always with you?" She asks, with an evil grin on her face. the blood in my face disappears, and I look her in the eye.

"Tell me where they are." I grit thought my teeth, and dig my nails into my palm. I feel like walking up to her, and smacking her as hard as I can, and just to prove I can, I do exactly what I said in my mind. I hit her. The cheerleading squad gasps, and Jacklin shrieks. Melanie starts crying, and I walk away.

Not something they were expecting, huh.

"Lilly, come here right now!" I roll my eyes and follow the principle, Ms. Morris. She looks at me with a glare.

"Poor Jacklin told me what you did to Melanie. That poor girl watched her friend get hit! how could you?" I roll my eyes, again.

"Whatever she deserved it." With that, I leave the room, and go straight home.
