Fire.

Pain.

Screams.

You can hear the fire, the pain, the screams.

She's right there, in front of you.

Take her out. She doesn't see you. She won't see you. Just do it.

You have to do it.

Its what you've been waiting for. The flames burn, but she stands unscarred.

Take her out. Kill her. Make sure she suffers.

Do it. DO IT!

I stand, listening to the voices and I close the distance. She stands there, staring at her hands like she sees evil in her fingers, tingling and vibrating with power. She can kill me with one touch.

Use your dagger. Use it now!

I shakily reach down into my arm band and I pull out my blade. It gleams deadly in the orange flames that surround us, burning everyone and everything. I grip it in my hand, so tight my knuckles turn white and I take a few more steps towards her.

She turns.

DO IT! DO IT NOW!

"H-Hiccup?" she says, her voice soft.

I stare into her violet eyes, into her powerful eyes. They swirl with confusion and pain. Pain that I hold this dagger, ready to end her. I hear the roar of flames in the background, reminding me of the destruction she has caused, and I lift my dagger up high.

"H-Hiccup?"

Her curly, red hair shines as it whips around her face, like its on fire, making her pale face stand out, though she has smudges of ash on her fore-head and cheek. A scar lay on the corner of her left eyebrow, barley visible through her hair. Her brown boots go perfectly with her black, full outfit with brown armour on her shoulders, arm, chest, torso and legs. A cloth is thrown across her shoulders. The armour on her shoulder has the NightFury symbol on it. She carries no weapos in those soft, gentle hands of hers. Her hands tremble and she slightly shakes.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?!

I am about to bring down the dagger, when she folds her hands behind her back, takes a step forward and leans her head back, exposing her neck. "D-Do it. I...I can't kill you. Just do it."

Yes. Do what she says. Do it.

I hear the fire, the pain, the screams.

A new voice enters my head.

It wasn't my fault. Can't you hear what they scream? Listen Hiccup, listen with your own ears.

I close my eyes and my ears are assaulted by the screams.

"HICCUP! WHY?!?!"

"YOU WERE OUR FRIEND!!"

"YOU'RE EVIL!!"

The flames around us turn green, with small flickers of violet flames here and there.

"No." I drop the dagger and I look at all the chaos and madness that surrounds me. "I did this."

Ember opens her eyes and looks to me. She grabs my hand and fire starts to spread up my arm, but same with hers.

"We are the same" she says. "Fire and flames. We both use our touch for destruction. For chaos."
