I couldn't sleep.

I guess the pressure of the interview is getting to me.

The thought of getting interviewed by world- wide celebrity Hallen Da Ganeres

I sat up from my bed.

Maybe i just needed someone to talk to.

Im going to try my luck and see if anyone is awake.

I looked around.

Ava and Kyle were asleep.

But Ezra wasn't...

Instead, Ezra was sitting next to the window.

He was staring outside and listening to music.

I rubbed my eyes to make sure they weren't playing tricks on me.

Is Ezra Banks staying up past 12 a.m.?

He always sleeps before 12 a.m.

I stood up from my bed and slowly crept over to him.

I tapped his shoulder.

He got startled and he was relieved when he saw it was just me.

He took of his headphones.

"What are you doing up this late?" Ezra whispered.

"I can ask you the same thing." I whispered back as i sat next to him.

"I just can't sleep... I guess im worried about the interview tomorrow." Ezra whispered as he looked down.

"Same." I whispered back.

"I have a lot of things in my mind too.." Ezra said.

"Wanna talk about it?" I asked.

"No i'm not ready. Plus, i don't know how to explain it." Ezra said.

I felt a bit hurt that Ezra isn't telling me what's on his mind.

I still want to be there for him.

I want him to know Im there for him.

He has always been there for me.

Its the least i can do for him

"Just tell me please." I said as i leaned my head on his shoulder.

"I will some day Mauds." Ezra said.

"Fine, can i tell you whats on my mind?" I asked.

"Sure." Ezra said.

"Thank you Ez." I said.

"What?" Ezra asked.

"Im just saying thank you. I just realized how your always there for me." I said.

"Nah that's not true..." Ezra said.

"Yes it is! Ever since we met, you have been there for me. Your the one who gets me. Your the one that makes me feel so much better and special. I appreciate Ava and Kyle, but your the only one that's just truly there... Your like a brother to me." I said reaching for his shoulder
