Chapter 9: Getting ready

Time skip to when they are getting ready for the interview.

Ava POV

I grabbed my Curling iron from my bag.

I had woken up 2 hours before everyone else so i was pretty much done getting ready.

I already have showered, did my skincare routine, changed and did my makeup

Kyle is done too, he just took a shower.

I can say i like his fashion choice now

The white shirt and army pants really suit him.

He kinda looks dashing in them honestly

Anyways...

Ezra is showering and Maudie is waiting for him to finish

"That's pretty smart of you to set up an alarm 2 hours earlier." Maudie said.

"I didn't... i was just too excited." I said as i grabbed a stand of hair to curl.

"Wow, your not nervous?" Maudie asked.

"What's their to be nervous about? We're gonna nail it!" I said almost dropping the curling iron.

"Hope so." Maudie said.

I set my curling iron down and approached her.

I grabbed her shoulders.

"Listen Maudie, Were. going. to. nail.this." I said.

Maudie awkwardly nodded her head.

"Great, now when your done showering would you like me to curl you hair?" I asked.

"No thanks, i like my hair straight." Maudie said.

I shrugged and went back to curling my hair.

After 5 minutes

Ezra had finally finished showering.

He came out wearing a red t shirt and some jeans.

It was Maudie's turn to shower

10 minutes later

Maudie came out wearing a white shirt and denim kitty overalls

"No offence Maudie, there's no way your going out like that." I said.

"What's wrong with it?" Maudie asked

"Where going to an interview for THE Hallen, you can't go out looking like a toddler." I said.

"I guess i can change my style up a bit. Just as long as i like it." Maudie said.

"Definitely." I said

"I think i have the perfect outfit for you." I said.

I went through all my stuff until i found the perfect clothes.

It was a blue oversized sweater with some cute design and some leggings.

"Try it on." I said handing her the clothes.

She smiled and nodded.

She walked to the bathroom to change.

I went back to my curling iron and finished up curling my last stand of hair.

When i was done Maudie came out looking super cute in her new outfit.

"Oh my gosh Ava i love it!" Maudie said as she gave me a hug.

"Am i a genius or what?" I said.

"Yes you are." Maudie said.

"If you guys are done with whatever you guys are doing. Shouldn't we get going?" Ezra said.

We both pulled back and nodded.

We all grabbed our bags and went out of the room.

Even though everyone's outfits are amazing, i think mine is the best.

We went down and Rosita was there watching Tv and eating cheese puffs

"Where are you 4 going?" She asked.

As if she cares.

"The interview." I said.

"Well goodbye." She said as she tossed a cheese puff in her mouth.

Wow she REALLY doesn't care.

We all got out of the house.

"Wow she didn't even offer to get us a cab." I said, highly annoyed.

"Let's just go." Maudie said.

We walked through the porch and got to the sidewalks.

"Wait. Who called the cab?" Maudie asked.

"Not me." I said

"Not me." Kyle said.

"Don't worry i called us an uber." Ezra said.

"Wait, Uber doesn't exist in our hometown..." I said.

"Well yes. Were not in out hometown. We're in America, Uber exists everywhere here." Ezra said as he taps his phone.
