Millie was laid on Caleb's bed while wrapped up in his arms.

"Still no response?" He asked.
"No, i'm really worried for her."'Millie frowned.
"I should've known when he freaking switched dorm rooms with him." Caleb got annoyed.
"It's okay.. you didn't know." Millie looked in his eyes.
"But he was my best friend since freshmen year." He looked back.
"... It's gonna be okay, just wait until he's ready to talk." Millie said as she grabbed his face and kissed his cheek and quickly hopped up.
"Where you headed to?" He asked.
"I have to work on my writing prompt. Text me later." She put on her black boots and exited the boys dorm.

Their dorms were located in the same building but the doors were on the opposite sides. She started walking through the 3 inch snow to her dorm room. She entered the door and of course, Emma and Courtney.

"Um hello?!" She said loudly.
"Oh shit, hey." She continued making out.

Millie sighed and opened her MacBook opening her writing prompt. The assignment was due in 2 days and she had no inspiration, then she turned around at her lesbian roommate and girlfriend. Millie has learned to always ask for consent when making a story about or referring to real people in your life.

"Sooo, don't get mad. But I need a storyline line and I was thinking i could use your guys story?" Millie asked.
"I'm down." Courtney sat down and shrugged.
"Yeah, but different names and we have to approve it." Emma said.

Millie got to working, she popped open her caramel flavored starbucks drink from target and started working. As she took a break this picture came on her instagram timeline.

Millie made sure she was the first comment: Mine🥰

Millie was never in that public of a relationship, other than the boy she was with sophomore year. He was on the football team and at 15 years old that was every girls dream. Brown skin curly hair, and that caught every girl's attention also. Millie was the cute nerd like girl. Glasses and braces but still had nice clothes and shoes. And at that time the "cute nerd" aesthetic was in 2016. He cheated on her with a cheerleader. Honestly, Millie was heartbroken because she thought that's how your supposed to feel. They dated for 4 weeks and she just thought he was a cute face and that's all.

Millie got back to work and she started writing about Emma's home life. She was unsure of what to talk about and Emma was sleep. You did not want to wake her up while she was sleep. She started wring.

"Emma had a slut mom. She got into drinking and drugs, even became a stripper. Came home late nights smelling like marijuana and bringing grown men with her. While she would have countless amount of sex a night for a few hundred dollar bills they would even come in her room and do things to her. But for money, that's Emma's mom for you."

Millie had to finish off her first draft before the end of the night to show her teacher in the morning.

The next day she arrived to class and put the stack of papers on the desk of her first rough draft. Millie couldn't help but notice during private reading Mrs. Patterson couldn't keep her eyes off reading her story. As class ended and Millie gathered her notebook and binder Mrs. Patterson called her over to the desk and asked her to sit.

"This.. Millie is amazing." She smiled.
"Oh my- thank you." Millie responded.
"The way you talk about Emma's home life and how much she has grown from that is a great aspect in this story." She added.

Millie could feel her heart sink, how would Emma feel if she saw what she wrote. But soon Mrs. Patterson interrupted Millie's thoughts.

"I want you to finish this and hopefully post it to the school's library. This looks good." Mrs. Patterson adjusted her chair.

Millie got up and head to her next class, with 100 thoughts in her mind. Should she tell Emma? Would she be angry? Was she a bad friend?
