It has a few days and Caleb was in Phoenix getting ready to play the Suns, meanwhile Emma, Millie, and Shantel were in the new house unpacking a few things.
"My stomach hurts again!" Millie groaned. "Ponytail duty." Shantel signaled Emma from the kitchen.
Millie ran into the half bath and started throwing up green liquid.
"Are you okay?" Shantel asked concerned. "I think so... ever since we got here I feel sick. "Mhm." Emma walked out the room. "Is there something you have to say?" Millie followed. "Don't fight!" Shantel yelled. "I dealt with a pregnant friend before and the signs are here." Emma said fully honest. "WHAT! No way." Millie started to get defensive. "I mean, mood swings, morning sickness, weird cravings. I mean just think back to what you told me when Caleb went to semi-finals." She winked. " No, theres no way stop playing." Millie thought. "Only one way to find out." Emma pulled out a pregnancy test and put it in Millie's hand. "Fine." Millie stomped to the bathroom and took the pregnancy test." "done." Millie threw it in the counter folding her arms. "I mean mood swings." Shantel said walking away. "I told you." Emma said grabbing the pregnancy test as the answer started to arrive. "CONGRATS MAMA!" Emma screamed. "WHAT! NO!" Millie grabbed the test in disbelief. "AHHH! YOUR PREGNANT!" Shantel ran up the stairs and hugged Millie.
Millie was quite shocked, I mean. How many months were we? How can I raise this baby alone? Will Caleb be home in enough time? By the time everyone left she got the call. "Hey! Your copies are done and your book is set the be published tomorrow. Soon as possible like you requested. Im on my way through airline now!" Mrs. Patterson said. "Great. I'll see you tomorrow. Can you send me the covers?" Millie asked. "Of course sweetie, see you on publish day!" She said and hung up.
She got sent the cover and the page amount of 312 and she was astonished. It was exactly what she imagined. I mean things were going so fast! The book was already about to be published and now she has to stomach she's pregnant. Shantel had to leave early to meet with Cameron for lunch but we asked Emma for help to get a outfit for the release party.
"So let's get ready." Emma pulled open the closet doors. "We have a cute summer dress." She laid onto the bed." "Ooo! Or this lavender 2 piece.." She questioned. "You probably want to be conservative with the baby and all." She winked. "Hey!" Millie tilted her head. "Sorry!." Emma chuckled.
30 Minutes later.
"Hmmm... you know what I think I'm gonna go with the summer dress." Emma said. "So you ripped apart my whole closet to go with the first option!" Millie yelled. "Hey, it's a designer routine." She winked. "Ugh. I think i'm going to do a slick back but and light makeup." Millie said. "Okayyy, cute and simple." Emma said.
THE NEXT DAY
Millie was on the way to the airport to pick up Mrs. Patterson in her whole outfit extravaganza. She waited outside Terminal 1B.
"Hey!" Mrs. Patterson said as she threw her small luggage into the trunk. "Hi Mrs. Patterson!" Millie leaned across the seat to give an embrace. "Don't be to formal, Patty." She smiled. "Alright! You have to make a small speech so we have to get there early." Party said. "Of course." Millie started driving to the LA National Library.
As they arrived Millie got a facetime from Caleb because he wanted to see the event. The outside was filled with colorful balloons. As they entered a small group clapped as a crowd and we saw our close friends as we gave hugs to everyone and strangers.

"Hi. Mrs. Williams!" Maria said. "Oh. Hey Maria, surprised to see you." Millie smiled. "I couldn't miss it, my favorite teachers book release." She chuckled.
Millie smiled back going to meet more guests as she straightened up her paper speech for the audience. The room quickly silenced as Millie took ownership of the room.
"I just want to say thank you to everyone who is present in the room right now to support me. This was a long road and my journey is still continuing. I am so blessed to have written this story about the love between me and Fiancé." The crowd clapped. "And here today, I would like to introduce you to my new book College Love." Millie cut the ribbon to the stock of the books. The crowd clapped and departed to read peaks of the book. As we had small talk with Patty as she gave us our $10,000 advance.
"Aw! You spoke about how we went to Walmart together when we first met." Emma flipped through the pages. "Yup." Millie smiled. "Wow, you even remember the small hints of me being lesbian." She stared at her in the eye. "Sorry." Millie chuckled sarcastically. The day was great, they had some sweets and light snacks and decided to go out for dinner afterward. Although Millie had to cut it short due to a stomach ache and needing to watch Caleb's game. She got comfortable and laid down while watching the game. She started to feel sick again and grabbed a bucket to put beside her. She was rooting for Caleb during the first quarter for the layup as he jumped up for a dunk but someone tripped his lace and he fell down to the floor with his knee & the side of his stomach hitting the hard wood ground first. The moment felt also slow motion as the tv reporters flooded the area to figure out the injury. Millie watched as she couldn't do anything else, what happened to him? Is this the end of his career?
