~Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a bit, I've been swamped with school work and college applications and a bunch of stuff. I'm gonna try to post more often now that school has calmed down a bit.~

Christian's POV

*At Christian's Apartment*

I wake up to an empty bed because meg had an early physical therapy session. I head down to the kitchen to cook some breakfast and decide to FaceTime my mom.

"Hey mom."

"Hey honey. What's up?"

"I need your help."

"With what Christian?"

"I wanna propose and I need help."

"Oh honey, I'm so happy for you. When are you thinking of doing it?"

"I have a few ideas. I'm thinking it will probably be at her grad party because she'd want everyone she loves to be there. I'm gonna need help with the ring mom. I'm gonna ask her sister obviously for her ring size and stuff but I still need your help. Because I am clueless."

"I know you are honey. And that's ok. I'm sure your probably nervous too but you don't have to worry about it. You make her so happy, and she lights up your whole world Christian. You've had girlfriends before and they were great but no one has ever made you this happy before."

"I know. She makes me so happy. God mom I don't even know how to describe how she makes me feel. She's the only thing that matters anymore mom."

Suddenly I feel a small pair of arms wrap around me and a head lean on my back. My mom smiles knowing that it's meg and that she just heard everything I said. And I smile knowing exactly who it is.

I turn around and lean down to kiss her. "Hey beautiful. How was PT?"

"Good. Jess said I'm getting stronger. She thinks I'll be able to try running again next week and possibly walk on my own without the brace. Maybe even start light workouts on my legs and full workouts on my upper body. She wants me to start my standing hitting drills too."

"That's great Meg. You'll be kicking my ass in no time baby," I kiss her again and say, "When you do have to head to BC?"

"I think it's like January 13. I have 4 months. That's why I'm thrilled Jess cleared me for workouts. How's the crew's playoff push going?"

"We're hoping to make the Wild Card but we only have 1 game left. We have to win today and it's the Yankees and pray that the cardinals lose and then we'd have to get by the Dodgers in the Wild Card. I just want the season to be over so me and you can relax on the beach in Malibu with no care in the world."

Meg's eyes light up at the thought of Malibu in the off season. I laugh at her facial expressions and pull her close to me. She nuzzles her head into me and whispers, "I love you Christian."

I whisper back, "I love you too," and kiss her forehead. Meg notices I'm on the phone with my mom.

"Hey Alecia, I see Christian missed you." Meg says with a smile. I smile back at her loving how close she is with my mom.

"Oh meg, you know he's a momma's boy"

"The biggest. But it's ok because we love him regardless. How are you and the dogs? And your other two pieces of trouble?"

"Everyone is good. Does you guys have an ETA as when your coming out?"

I chime in with, "Not sure. If we win and the cardinals lose, we host the dodgers for game 163. If we lose, we just have to check with Meg's physical therapist to see if she's done with PT. So we don't know yet. But I'll let you know."
