For the tenth time, Hanseok called Seohae but there was no response. The last two times this happened, Seohae was getting murdered and he was more worried than ever.

He called Hanseo to check if Seohae was still in the office building, but she wasn't.

Hanseok had knocked off early to play ice hockey, and wanted to call Seohae if she wanted to eat bingsu together since there was a promotion near her house.

But she didn't pick up the phone nor left him any text messages.

He thought back to the last 2 moments that she was uncontactable -- she got drowned once, and shot twice the other.

He started to panic and drove to his house, almost exceeding the speed limit.

He rang the doorbell multiple times, knocking the door impatiently but there was no reply.

With every minute passed, he grew more worried. Something could have happened to Seohae, and she would be by herself with her whereabouts unknown.

"Shit." He gave up and went back to his car, driving around the streets of Seoul hoping to find her somewhere like he did the first time she was lost.

After half an hour he got a call back from Seohae, and he nearly crashed his car trying to pick it up.

"Why did you call me so many times?" She asked.

"Where were you?!"

"I just got home."

"Fuck you." He cursed and hung up, leaving a confused Seohae at the other end of the line.

He drove back to her house, ringing the doorbell and grabbing Seohae by her arms once she opened the door.

He pushed up her sleeves and tilted her head to check for any bruises.

"What are you doing?"

"Where the hell were you?!"

He spotted a bruise at her jaw and a few up her sleeves.

"I met an old friend--"

"Who did this?" He asked sternly and pushed her back so there was more light for him to see her clearly.

"It's nothing--"

"Answer me!" He yelled, startling Seohae.

"I met into an old enemy around here after I had dinner with a friend."

"What's his name?"

"It's none of your business." She started to get annoyed.

"He beat you up like that, of course it's my business!"

"Why do you care?!"

"Why? Because I don't want you to get hurt, that's why!"

She stayed quiet, and quickly removed her arms from his grip. "I'm not going to allow myself to get hurt, that's why I fought back." She walked away and sat on her couch.

He went to sit beside her. "Please talk to me about it."

He knew there was some things that Seohae was keeping from him, that would be of danger to her.

Seohae noticed that Hanseok was genuinely concerned and wanted to help, but the two sides of her debated.

She sighed. "I don't want to get you into this mess."

"Too late. And we're partners, what concerns you concerns me." He said seriously.

"The last two times you nearly died because of something you didn't tell me, don't you think I deserve to know?"
