//next morning
"You should go back to your house, you haven't been sleeping comfortably the past few nights here." Seohae said.
"The security at your house is better anyway, you'll be safe there. I'll be safe here too." She assured.
Hanseok knew he had earned a backache since sleeping at her house, and agreed.
//that night// (Vincenzo episode where Hanseok was chased by people from Geumga plaza)
Seohae lay awake in her bed, unable to fall asleep. With Hanseok gone from the 4 days he slept over, Seohae felt a tinge of emptiness in her house. But it was fine, she was used to it, although she didn't like it.
She thought back at how she had no nightmares during the 4 nights, could the nightmares come back once Hanseok was gone?
Seohae turned over and shut her eyes, trying to block out any thought about Hanseok and fall asleep.
Just as she was about to fall asleep, her phone rang. Annoyed, she picked it up but her frown softened when she saw the caller ID.
"Hanseok?
Now?
Okay."
---"What? Vincenzo sent men at midnight? " Hanseo asked.
"Shit, bring me the first aid box." Hanseok ordered, looking at his foot. Seohae, having been in his house before, knew where the box was. She went to the cupboard and took out the familiar box.
She came back with the box while Hanseok tried to pull the splinter out with his fingers.
"Stop it, you'll infect your wound." She said and pulled a chair to sit infront of him, mildly shocking everyone when she started to assist him in treating his wounds.
Hanseok picked up his phone angrily and made a call.
"Come for me yourself, you bastard." He cursed. Seohae dabbed the blood off the bottom of his sole.
After a few seconds, he slammed the phone down. "What's wrong?" Seungheuk asked.
"Get me 10 more bodyguards." Hanseok replied angrily. Myunghee nodded and walked off to make a call.
Seohae, without warning, pulled the splinter out with a pair of tweezers earning a yelp from Hanseok. "Ah shit! That hurt!"
"Wow its long." She held it up for the rest to see, fascinated.
"How many of them were there?" Seohae asked, putting a plaster on his foot.
"Around 5, I don't know." He replied.
Seohae knocked the treated feet off the seat and Hanseok put up his other feet. Seohae dabbed disinfectant on it, and Hanseok tried to control his yelp this time.
Grabbing the edges of his seat harder and biting his tongue, Hanseok managed not to let out anything. He wanted to show he could withstand the pain although he was internally screaming.
"Looks like I'm your lucky charm after all, not the other way around." Seohae joked which earned looks to the inside joke between them.
"I'm moving back, go prepare a bed for me." He told Seohae.
"Carry your bed there, I don't have a bed and I'm not planning on buying one." Seohae simply replied.
"Carry my bed there? You can help me do that."
"Who's helping you do that? The five gangsters?" Seohae teased. Hanseok breathed in sharply.
"Any other time I would have beat their asses. This was because I was asleep when they came in. Ah right Hanseo, go change the lock on my door." He said.
