Carlos' POV

I was outside with Ben on the tourney field because he said he would help me practice "Okay. Carlos, we're gonna do some sprints you ready?" Ben asked me I nodded, then I heard the sound of.... Barking? Oh shit a dog! I saw the dog running towards me making me sprint away from it as fast as I can, it got closer making me scream "No, wait!" I was screaming "Sweet!" I heard Ben say what's so sweet about this?! "Carlos? Carlos!" Ben said probably just know noticing that I was being chased by a dog. I ran into the forest and climbed a tree hopefully they can't climb I thought to myself "Carlos!" I heard Ben's voice getting closer "Ben? Ben?" I screamed "Ben help me" I said with a shaky voice from screaming "This thing is a killer" I pointed at the dog he was now holding? Why would anyone hold that thing when it can attack you! "He's gonna chase me down and rip out my throat" I told him getting impossibly closer to the tree so the dog won't get to me "This is a viscousrapod pack animal!" I told him "Hey, who told you that?" He asked "My mother" I stated the obvious  "Curella?" He asked me again, well duh who else Ben? "She's a dog expert. A dog yellerer" I corrected myself making him laugh and look at the dog "Why are you holding him?! He's gonna attack you!" I basically screamed at him holding onto the tree for dear life "Carlos you've never actually met a dog have you?" He asked me I mean yeah they could kill me, at least that's what my mom said "Of course not" I said with a scared voice "Dude, meet Carlos. Carlos this is dude, he's the campus mutt" he said looking at the dog "He doesn't look like a viscous rapid pack animal" I said slowly getting off the tree "Jeez. You're a good boy aren't you?" I said petting the dog, then Ben handed me the dog and wow was he a bit heavy "you're a good boy" I said slightly bouncing the dog up and down making me and Ben laugh until he realised something "I guess you guys have it pretty rough on the island" he said looking at me with sad eyes "Yeah, let's just say we don't get a lot of belly rubs" I joked making him laugh "good boy" he said and patted my shoulder making e look at him confused "I mean you're a good runner, you're... you're fast, you know" he corrected himself "Oh yeah, thank you" I said "Listen, I'm gonna give you guys some space, yeah? You guys get to know each other and just, you know, come find me when your done, okay?" He said slowly backing up "I'll see you later" "See you out there" I told him seeing him walk away "Hi. Hi. Oh! Thank you" I said to the dog because he licked my face.

Your POV

I was at the bleachers with Doug as usual because that's where we normally study- well- he just lets me cheat of him and I let him cheat of me. We were doing pretty well because the field is normally quite sometimes cheerleaders are practicing but besides that it's pretty quite- "Is everybody at home as pretty as you?" I heard someone say. Chad. I could tell it was him from a mile away with that pretend dreamy voice, ugh, and I'm guessing Doug heard him as well because he looked up from his book and looked at me "should we eavesdrop?" He asked me "what no! That's an invasion of privacy Doug!" I whisper shouted, no matter how much I would like to, I let other people have their own privacy "I know I know but like- what if he's gonna do something bad to her?" He said convincingly "Fine but only one time" I said holding one finger up "I like to think I'm the fairest of them all" I heard Evie say, if Chad doesn't agree with her then he obviously doesn't deserve her "How many rooms are in your castle?" She asked Chad "Oh! To many to count" he said, which he wasn't lying, I've been to Chad's house before and it was pretty big, then I saw Evie lean in and I saw Chad slightly leaning in making my blood boil because I know he's just using her, I mean why would he be chasing after Audrey all his life the suddenly like Evie? "You really nailed that chemistry problem today. Your gonna have all the nerds in love with you" he said and chuckled "I'm not that smart" Evie said "Oh come on" "No really I'm not, but I'm... I'm real good at sewing and cooking and cleaning. You know, like your mother, Cinderella, without the ratty dress" she joked about the last part making them both chuckle, Evie you could be so much more than just a house wife i thought to myself.

Evie's POV

I was with Chad under the bleachers and I didn't really like him that much, I mean yeah he is kind of handsome but I could tell that all of this was just an act but I had to bring a Prince home to my mother, to show her that I am capable of doing things "see this?" I got my magic mirror out "if I ask it where something is, it tells me" "are you kidding me?" He said amazed "No" I told him and then he grabbed my mirror "Where's my cellphone?" He asked it  and then put the mirror to his ear like he was holding a phone "It won't work for you silly" I told him then he handed me back my mirror while saying "No biggie. My dad will just get me a new one" "Prince charming" I said "Yeah" he whispered "And  Cinderella" "yeah" "Fairy godmother" I said then I remembered what we're actually here for, while he was getting closer to me I said "Hey, I heard her wand is still in some boring museum, do they always leave it there?" I asked him as he was leaning in "I'd really like to talk but" he sighed as he leaned back "I'm just swamped" he said holding on one of the polls that keep the bleachers up "Unless..." he said as an idea popped in his head "Unless?" I repeat his words "If you could knock all my homework out along with yours, then maybe we could get together sometime. She said making me chuckle, Doug shrugged it off and said "I, too, have a fascination with fairy godmothers wand" while he and y/n came down to where I was "Which is another reason I look forward to the coronation" he said looking at y/n who just playfully rolled her eyes "Perhaps we could sit next to each other and discuss its attributes" Doug continued "Are you saying they use it in the coronation?" I asked "Yes, and asking you out?" He said making me chuckle and walk away.
