Mal and Ben were at this like gazebo in the lake, they were having a regular picnic but Mal was hiding something "Would you like a hot hors d'oeuvre?" Mal asked Ben as she held the hors d'oeuvre to his face "Yes please" Ben said with a smile and ate the hors d'oeuvre "Mmm. This is the best thing I've ever had" Ben mumbled as he was still chewing "So you like it?" Mal asked Ben "I more than like it. I, uh.." Ben said as he leaned forward to grab another hors d'oeuvre "Mmm. Double like it" He said making Mal chuckle "Is this beef ragout?" He asked as he grabbed a spoon to taste it "Yeah" Mal confirmed "This is amazing" He said while eating the beef ragout "Did I surprise you?" Mal asked "Oh, yeah, you surprised me. This is every single dish Mrs. Potts made for my parents. What'd it take you? Three days?" Ben asked Mal in shock "You know, don't even ask me" Mal shook her head with a smile making them both chuckle "Yeah" Ben said and looked at Mal "Well, it means a lot that you stopped and did all this for me" Ben said making Mal's body fill up with guilt "Especially with all the craziness you've been put through" He said and held Mal's hand "I missed you" He told her and caressed her cheek making her smile "We don't get much time to be just us anymore" Ben continued "I know" Mal agreed wiping some soup off of Ben's lips making them both chuckle "You can't take me anywhere right?" Ben said making Mal laugh "Do you have a... Do you have a napkin or something?" Ben asked Mal "I do I packed some" Mal said looking for a napkin "Oh, there it is" Ben said as he put his hand in the picnic basket "I can grab them" Mal said but Ben pulled out her spell book that was in the basket "What's this?" Ben asked "I actually threw that in there super last minute in case it rained or-" Mal tried to make up an excuse but Ben already opened the book and started reading the pages "Speed reading spell. Blonde hair spell" Ben read out loud and stopped to read the other page, he looked at Mal in disbelief and said "Cooking spell" He said and closed the book "And I was giving you props for fitting in so well. For doing your best" Ben said angrily "Take this moment that has passed, return it.... Reverse it" Mal messed up and Ben stood up even more angry "Are you trying to spell me right now?!" Ben shouted "It has been so hard for me!" Mal argued "Yes! Some things are hard! Do you think learning to be a Prince now that y/n is queen is easy for me?" Ben argued back "No!" Mal said "I thought we were doing this together" Ben said "Ben, we are in this together" Mal tried to reason with him "But we're not Mal. We're not. You've been keeping secrets and lying to me. I thought we were done with that. This isn't the isle of the last Mal" Ben said "Yeah believe me, I know that" Mal told Ben "Then why are you doing this?" Ben asked her "Because..." Mal scoffed "I'm not one of those pretty pink princesses Ben. I'm not one of those ladies from the court. I'm a big fake ok? I'm fake. This is fake" Mal told Ben "This is fake" Mal scoffs as she touched her hair, she grabbed her spell book and flipped through the pages "Take this feast, this sumptuous meal, return it back to what is real" Mal said, all the food disappeared and he only thing that was left was a glass of milk and a sandwich "This is who I really am" Mal said and walked passed Ben "Mal" Ben tried to stop her "No, no" Mal said and walked away, Ben grabbed the sandwich and yelled "Peanut butter and jelly is my favourite!"
