Third person POV

The cheerleaders where cheering while the marching band was playing music "This is a nail bitter folks, there's 47 seconds left on the clock, we're all tied up. The sherwood falcons, two. The fighting knights, two. What a game between Auradon's fiercest rivals" the announcer said "Get 'em Chad" Jay said to Chad "Thanks Jay" Chad said "You're up" the Coach told jay and Carlos rubbed jays shoulder "Coach how about my buddy here?" Jay said pulling Carlos up "Oh no" Carlos said "Not so sure about that" the coach said "Coach he's been practicing" jay said wanting to convince the coach "Jay" Carlos said "And you said yourself a tea, is made up of a bunch of parts" "Jay I'm not that good" Carlos told Jay "Well he's kind of like my brain" jay said, the coach looked at him but agreed nonetheless "you heard him get out there!" The coach told Carlos "Don't worry , bro. I got your back" Jay reassured Carlos "How about my front?" Carlos asked Jay "Pfft, Get out there" Jay pushed Carlos into the field running behind him. "And the tip-off is ready, here we go" the announcer said

"Excuse me. Excuse me. Can I have your attention please?" Ben said grabbing the microphone from the announcer "there's something I'd like to say! Ben said "Give me an M!" He said making an "m" pose "M!" They all say and copy his pose "Give me an A!" "A!" They all copy his pose once again "Give me an L!" "L!" They all say and make an L pose "What does that spell?" Ben asked the crowd "Mal!" They all shouted "Come on I can't here you!" "Mal!" They say even louder than before "I love you Mal, did I mention that?" Ben said and the crowd "awed" making Audrey run off.

Once he was next to Mal he leaned in to kiss her which Mal dodged by crouching slightly and putting the shirt to cover her making Ben laugh and pull her into a side hug "I love you Mal did I mention that?" He asked for like the millionth time (we get the point okay Ben?🙄) Audrey made her way up to where Ben and Mal was, dragging Chad along with her "Chad's my boyfriend now!" She said as she grabbed the mic from Ben "Hey!" Chad said and flexed his muscles "And I'm going to the coronation with him, So I don't need your pity date" she said and kissed Chad making everyone gasp, Ben grabbed the mic and said "Mal! Will you go to the coronation with me?" "Yes!" Mal said and grabbed the microphone  "She said yes!" Ben said happily making the crowd cheer and Audrey storm off. "Let's go Ben! The whole team's waiting for you!" Jay said patting Ben's shoulder "Bye!" Mal said as Ben and Jay walked away. Evie still looked pissed at Chad making y/n (who was next to her) look at her "I feel really sorry for Audrey" y/n told Evie "you do?" Evie looked at her surprise "Yeah" Y/n said and nodded "I feel like is she were talented like you and she knew how to sew and knew beauty tips that she wouldn't need a Prince to make her feel better about herself" Y/n said making Evie laugh "I guess I am kind of talented" Evie said still smiling at y/n "You are definitely gifted" y/n said making her and Evie laugh "thanks y/n" Evie said smiling at y/n
"Yeah yeah!" Jay cheered with a trophy in his hands, he was lifted up by other people while everyone was cheering for him
"There he is. Jay the most valuable player, how do you like that?" The announcer said.

Your POV

I was sitting in my usual seat next to Evie. Evie looked occupied finding something in her purse "Looking for something?" Mr. Delay asked her holding up what seemed to be a mirror? Making her open her mouth but no words came out "Thank you Chad" Mr. Delay said patting Chad on the back "It's gratifying to see someone still respects the honor code" Mr. Delay continued making Evie look at Chad with a mad face "It will be my recommendation that you will be expelled" Mr. Delay said "Mr. Delay I-" Evie started but I cut her off "But that isn't fair, what if she was looking for her pen and you automatically suspect that she's cheating, just because she's from the island doesn't mean you should take extra precaution if she does something normal people would do. And I don't think it's fair that you don't treat her like you treat other people in this class" I said standing up from my seat "Go to fairy godmothers office right now" he said looking at me with a 'Don't fuck with me' expression then looked at Evie "Well if you could pass this test I'll return your property and let the matter drop" Mr. Delay told her and that was all I needed to hear to get my backpack and walk out of the class. I went to fairy godmothers office and knocked on the door I hear a 'come in' so I opened the door and entered. She looked at me surprised because it's not usual for me to show up at her office, well I normally don't get sent to her office because I've never acted up before.
After I explained what happened she nodded as a sign that she understood why I did that. "Well in that case I will speak to Mr. Delay and I think it's really nice for you to stand up for Evie like that, I think that that's going to be one example of why you are going to be a great queen" she said and smiled at me "Thank you fairy godmother" I said returning a smile before getting up and left.

Evie's POV

I thought that it was really nice of y/n to stand up for me,  After she left Chad looked at with a smug look on his face, ugh that motherfucking jerk I cursed in my head while I looked at him like I was gonna murder him making Doug tap my shoulder to bring me back into reality. So basically I had to do the test without my magic mirror which was surprisingly easy! When Mr. Delay handed me my test the results where.... a B+! Which I was so happy about, I can't wait to show y/n!
When it was lunch break I saw y/n sitting at the table doing what I think was future queen duties (heh duties) I snuck up behind her and put my test over her head so she can see it and I rested my chin on her shoulder "For the first time, it's like I'm more than just a pretty face" I said still smiling "A shocker huh" y/n joked making me chuckle

Your POV

I could feel a hand drape around my shoulders so I looked to see Evie resting her chin on my shoulder, then I looked down to see her test that had a B+! I'm so proud of her! "For the first time, it's like I'm more than just a pretty face" she said smiling
"A shocker huh" I joked making her chuckle and take a seat next to me "You were pretty great in there" she complimented me "so were you" I told her "I bet I can get an 'A' on the next test without my mirror" she told me sounding confident, I think you deserve more than an A I thought "Yeah. Well, maybe we could get together and We'll hang out with-" The words 'get together' slipped out of my mouth before I knew it "Yeah, let's get together" Evie said making my heart skip a beat. We just gazed in each other's eyes before I heard a voice behind me "There you are! I have been looking for you everywhere!" The familiar voice said making me turn my head to see Mal "What's wrong?" Evie asked her "Ben just asked me out on..." She struggled to get the words out "A date" she whispered to us "Nice" I said because finally my brother had the courage to ask someone out "We can handle this, bye" she told me picking up her test "Bye" I waved and focused on the things that mother wanted me to do in preparation for my coronation ( heh that rhymes ) "You're looking a little pale" Evie said "Yeah, of course" Mal said "I can fix that with some gloss and some blush" "No!" Mal said "Mal I can use the-" Is all I heard from Evie as they got further away.
