Freddy and Chica. One of the sweetest couples you'll meet in Newer Home. Seemingly inseparable in bond. (If you've read the 4th book of my AU, you'll remember one example of said inseparability.)
Their relationship was one that grew somewhat slowly over time. It took a while for the two of them to clue in that they both had feelings for each other. So much so, that literally everybody else already knew that they liked each other, before they knew. And that piece of information started with two people.
Foxy and Vixen(Mangle).
First, it was the two foxes who had a romantic relationship. It started small and sweet at the beginning, but not long after they're relationship start, did they take notice of Freddy and Chica. So, whenever Foxy or Mangle got asked about their relationship with the other, they'd confirm the question before changing the subject to, "Have you noticed Freddy and Chica lately?"
For the longest time, the other two didn't seem to notice. Meanwhile, Foxy and Mangle were finding this so amusing. How they had managed to get every anthro in the pizzeria to take notice of the bear and chicken's blossoming romance.
So, when the two finally confirmed that they were officially a couple, nobody looked truly surprise. (A few people tried to look surprised for their sake). For a while, Freddy and Chica tried to figure out how that wasn't a surprise to anyone. They eventually gave up, and shrugged their friends' reactions off.
Foxy and Mangle finally confessed to the two not long before their wedding. To which--appropriately enough--they to-be-newlyweds weren't too surprised, in return. Such a stunt seemed completely like something the two would do, after all.
