AU Headcanons (Because Why Not?)

  Magic is something that's a part of every Anthro's SOUL. And yet, it doesn't mean every Anthro has a sort of special magical ability in similar ways that Puppet, Fredbear, or even Bonbell do. Sure, this magic makes up part of an Anthro, and for many, that's as far as it goes.

  For some whose magic gives them unique abilities, it can sometimes be something significant, or even just something ever so small. Something that, while maybe isn't able to be used for some larger purpose, is still unique to them. Or in the case of it being a hereditary thing, makes it a unique aspect to those in the family who inherited the ability.

  Such a case goes for Freddy Fazbear. A rather peculiar, and what he claims as embarrassing, ability was inherited from his grandfather, Jasper Fazbear. It hardly seems to be an ability he can apply in any situation to be of use, and so he keeps it a secret as best as he can. (Due to the mentioned embarrassment he finds it to be).

  The only few who know, and knew of this little magical ability of his, were of course his parents, as well as those closest to him, his brother and sister. The Marionette was also made aware of it during the Family Diner days, simply due to Gold accidentally 'displaying' his younger brother's ability while lightheartedly teasing him. Puppet had just happened to be present when it happened.

  Many years later, Chica also learned of Freddy's unique ability. She solemnly promised not to share this with anyone, not even with Bonnie or Foxy, out of respect for Freddy's wishes. She has continued to do so 'til this day. As for the way she found out about it? Well, it was simply when giving the bear a peck on the nose... resulting in her surprised reaction when she'd heard a 'honk' upon doing so.

  Freddy's strange, and small magical ability, is that his nose honks when even a small pressure is pressed on it. While inheriting it from his grandfather, it had been noted how Freddy's nose sounded uniquely different from Jasper's. Meaning that not one Fazbear whose inherited this ability has the same sound as another does.

  With the Marionette in the know of this, the bear had tried asking if he knew anything about why, or how such an ability could have come to be, to which the Marionette had no answer. Thankfully for Freddy, it isn't a burning mystery that will mean the end of his family as he knows it if he never finds the answer, so he simply has set this odd, mysterious ability's origin story aside. And if he ever happens to find an answer to it, he would be glad to know how it came to be, and would then merely continue on his way.

  Since being in Newer Home, and living among Monsters who all possess a range of magical abilities, Freddy has since found advice on how to maybe gain some control over this strange ability of his. Simply to avoid any awkward instances where having one's nose honk wouldn't be appropriate.

  While Freddy remains quite adamant on how he finds this ability embarrassing, (despite Chica telling him she finds it adorable), he doesn't find himself becoming flustered by it in a few, specific instances. Such instances being ones which find him holding his little cub, Annie, up for her to see his face. And with how curious babies are known for being of their surroundings, wanting to reach out and grab anything in their reach, it was only a matter of time before discovering that when she grabs her dad's nose, it made a funny noise. Which in turn only makes her giggle when she hears it!

  So while Freddy may still keep this small ability of his a secret, he's at least glad Annie finds it very amusing, and Chica can't exactly help but comment on how cute it is whenever the little cub makes a reach for her Dad's nose at seemingly every chance she gets.
