"Miss (L/N)!"

    I quickly lift my head up off of my desk upon hearing the teacher's voice. I had dozed off during the lesson. "S-sorry!" I quickly say in embarrassment. Everyone was staring at me and some were snickering. Embarrassing.

"It's fine but don't fall asleep in my class again." The teacher replied. She continued the lesson and everyone's eyes went back to the teacher.

Suddenly a crumpled piece of paper was thrown on my desk. I pick up the paper and uncrumble it. It said, " Hey you're cute wanna be friends? - Matt (Behind you)"

I hesitantly look behind me. 'Matt' waved so I quickly wave back. I then flipped the piece of paper over and wrote, "Sure meet me in the library after class :)" I turn around and place the piece of paper on his desk then start paying attention to the lesson.

As I'm in the library waiting for Matt I sit at a table and I start reading a book that was in my bag. "Hey-" I jump as I hear someone's voice from behind me. I quickly look behind me and see Matt. He laughs at me. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." I giggle. "It's fine." I smile and put my book back in my bag. "What were you reading?" He asks and sits next to me.

"Mmm, nothing. Just a random book." I shrug. Now that I'm looking at him, Matt's kinda cute... apparently, I'm cute in his eyes... huh. "So...I'm cute?" I giggle as he starts to blush.

"...yeah..." I giggle at his response then we start talking. He's a little bit of a narcissist but other than that he's cool.

Then the bell rang meaning my free hour is over and I have to actually go to my next class now. I groan at the thought. "Hey, here's my number." You said then took his arm and wrote your number on it.

Matt looked at his arm and smiled. "Thanks! I'll call you when school gets out... wait no. I'll call you when I get home."

After a few days that turned into weeks then into months, you ended up getting feelings for Matt. He liked you too... though it was pretty obvious considering the note he gave you when you two first met. Anyways he decided to ask you out.

"Hey, Y/n!" Matt called out from behind me as I was walking in the halls. I stopped walking to let him catch up to me. "Oh hey, Matt!" You replied with a smile. He blushed slightly but smiled back.

"Um after school today can you meet me at the Coffee shop downtown?" His voice had a hint of nervousness to it but it seemed like he tried to hide it. Obviously not very well. "Sure! Is there any specific reason?" You replied.

"You'll see!" Matt said then ran off to his next class. I giggle as he runs off. He's adorable. Oh god my feelings for him grow by the second. I shake my head and walk to my next class.

I enter the coffee shop with an exaggerated sigh. It had been a long day. Matt's lucky. I look around and spot Matt. I smile as I walk up to the table he's sitting at.

"Hey, Matt!" I exclaim and wave. As I look at Matt he seems... embarrassed? Flustered? It has to be one of those because his face is kind of red. Maybe he's sick?

"Are you... alright?" I sit down across from him. He smiles awkwardly and says, "I-I'm fine!" He's acting odd. It's kind of weird seeing him like this. "If you say so. I shrug.

He seemed uncomfortable but also like excited? He was bouncing his leg and fidgeting with his fingers. "Are sure you're alright?" I ask out of concern. He's one of my best friends so of course I'm concerned.

He hesitates for a moment. "I-... I want to tell you something." He says while staring at the table. I nod, "Go on..." I say while waiting for him to continue. He takes a deep breath and looks me in the eyes. "I have feelings for you. I want you to be my girlfriend. Will you uh be my girlfriend?" He asks. My eyes widen slightly.

Matt likes me? Well, I should've seen this coming he called me cute... What do I say? I like him back don't get me wrong but... just say yes. All I have to do is say yes.

Matt sighs and gets up. "I knew you didn't like me back." He starts walking to the door. "No no!" I get up and grab his hand. "I-I do! Yes, I will be your girlfriend!" He looks a little surprised but that then changes to excitement. "Really?!" He exclaims. People were staring at us but who cares? I'm living my dream romance life right now.

I nod and kiss him and he quickly kisses me back.
