I sit up quickly. I sigh realizing that my alarm had just gone off. I turn it off and check the time. 9:12 AM. I groan and my phone vibrates; signaling I got a notification. I had gotten a text from Tord, my best friend, and crush. Crush? Really? That sounds like I'm still in elementary. I groan once more and open my phone to see what Tord said.

It takes everything in me to hold back a squeal. Really? Still, keeping up the elementary stuff?

I walk to my closet and grab a cute outfit then go to the bathroom and take a quick shower. Once I'm done getting ready for the day I eat some food and then check the time. Already 11:30? I should get going.

I pull out my phone and text Tord as I leave the house. I glance at my car and then shrug. I needed some exercise anyway. I start walking to Tord's house while humming. I walk up to Tord's house and knock on the door. The door quickly opens.

"Oh my gosh, Tord is that you? It's been years!" I exclaim jokingly. He scoffs and rolls his eyes. He's hot... I mean what? "We literally hung out yesterday." He pushes me slightly and walks out of the house. His accent has got me in a chokehold.

"I'm not driving. I uh... I got my license like taken away and stuff." I lie. I shrug and he chuckles. "Fine fine, I'll drive" He replies with a groan. We both get into Tords car and he drives to the theater. We sit in comfortable silence as he drives. I find myself staring at his hands. They're calloused from what I can only imagine is hard work. (Red army winky winky)

TIME SKIP TO IN THE MOVIE THEATER THING

As we get about 20 minutes into the movie I lose interest. Not because the movie's boring or anything but because there are more... interesting things to look at. I stare at Tord like a 2 year old staring at ice cream. That was weird I mean he's really interesting and- okay whatever.

He looks... ugh what's the word... "I think you mean hot," Tord said with a smirk. It startled me and I almost dropped the popcorn. Did I really say that out loud? I blush out of embarrassment. "D-did I say that out loud?" I chuckle nervously. He nods still wearing the same mocking smirk.

I wonder what it would be like to kiss him... I leaned in and kissed him. It startled him slightly but then he melted into the kiss. He's a really good kisser not gonna lie. He definitely has kissed one or two women... OR MEN.

As I back away my eyes go wide, realizing what I had done. I just kissed my best friend. And he kissed back. Oh no he probably did it out of habit or something.

"I'm sorry but I gotta g-go to the bathroom," I say while getting up and then quickly walking out of the theater. Tord quietly calls out my name but I don't respond nor do I even look at him. I quickly go into the girls' bathroom and lock myself in a stall.

Oh god, what if our friendship is ruined? No no no... He's my best friend. I can't lose him. Oh no, I'm such an idiot. I feel tears run down my face. "Hello? Is Y/N in here?" A lady calls out. I don't recognize her voice. "H-Hello?" I call back out.

"Oh, ma'am! There's a young man outside waiting for you. He seems worried... Are you alright? Is he hurting you or anything?" She says. I come out of the stall. The lady seems older but definitely not over 75. I shake my head. "No, he's not hurting me... He's my best friend and I-I- I ruined our friendship. I like him and-and I kissed him." I hold back tears. Am I really venting to a stranger right now?

She hugs me and I hug back. She's a nice hugger. Not as nice as Tord though. I breathe deeply as she rubs my back. We pull away and she smiles at me. "I'm sorry," I say to her. She shakes her head. "Anything for another lady in need. Now go talk to him. He probably likes you back, dear."

I nod and walk to the door. I take a deep breath and then open the door. Mama didn't raise no wus. I walk out of the safety of the bathroom and into the horror of the lobby of the theater. Tord is standing there with a worried look. Once he sees me he quickly walks up to me and hugs me. Ah, there's the best hugger ever.

"I love you- I mean love like... uh I have feelings for you," I say as he pulls away. He smiles and kisses me, so I kiss back.

I changed a lot of stuff but I def kept the dramatic element B)
