I sigh loudly as I plop down on the couch next to Edd. Edd gives me a concerned look.

"You alright, Y/N?" He asks. I look over at him with a bored expression. "No, all my friends have boyfriends or girlfriends and my love life is basically non-existent." I groan out.

He chuckles at my response and smiles at me. "Awe I'm sure it's not non-existent. I'm sure there's some guy at there wanting you." I frown at him. "The only guys I even really know are the people living here." He chuckles again.

"Okay then go out and meet some guys. We can go to the park and meet some people. How's that sound?" He suggests with a bright smile.

He's so nice to me I swear I don't deserve it. In all honesty I really really like Edd, I just don't want to ruin our friendship. I mean, what will I do if he doesn't like me back? I cant just pretend I never said anything. It would be awkward, so I just bottle my feelings up. It's better that way.

I hesitantly respond, "Fine. As Long as you come with, though." I huff. His smile widens and he stands up. He holds his hand out to me so I grab it and he helps me up.

"Let me get ready first. I have to get my shoes and hoodie." He starts to walk to his room and I follow close behind.

He opens his bedroom door and walks in. I walk in with him and sit down on his bed. He walks around the room, grabbing things as he does.

He sits down next to me on the bed and puts his socks on. I stop paying attention to him and take in the scent and sight of his room as I've done many times before. He stands up and walks around the room, looking for his hoodie.

He eventually finds it in the closet and puts it on. I stand up and we walk out of the room. "Do you mind if we walk?" Edd asks to which I shake my head in response. "Don't mind at all." I smile up at him.

We walk towards the front door side by side. He opens the door for me and I walk out. He follows me, shutting the front door behind him. And with that, we start our journey to the park.

"I haven't been to the park in a while." I shrug. He looks over at me and responds, "I walk over there pretty often." He shrugs then continues, "Sometimes I'll make a friend. Once this girl's dog ran up to me and she nice the girl came up to get her dog she was apologizing and starting conversation. I guess I'm just a likable man." He smiles, mischievously then giggles.

I won't lie that made me a little jealous but he didn't say her name so he probably doesn't remember her. Why do I care? It's not my life.

"You must be." I giggle with him. I see the park in the distance as we talk and I silently hope no one comes up to us. "Maybe I'm just hot." He winks at me with a smirk. I make a "pfft" sound and look him up and down.

"Then why are you still single?" I ask, jokingly. He laughs and responses, "I'm just... waiting for the right woman." We both laugh together and I push him lightly. He pushes me back and we just laugh even harder.

We walk into the field of green grass in the park. There are some people walking their dogs, people with their kids, teenagers walking with their friends, and more. It's very lively and full here for a Tuesday.

"It's always so pretty here in the summer. It's not that hot today." Edd states while looking around, "And so many people. How exciting." He looks down at me with a smile.

"I didn't think there'd be so many people." I look around, taking in my surroundings. "It is really nice here." I smile up at him.

We walk around the park for a second. Someone taps on my shoulder from behind me so I turn around. Its a tall guy. He looks like a chad.
