Vampire!Matt x reader

I yawn as I enter the kitchen for a late-night snack. I checked my phone before I left my room. 2 AM... it's a little later than I would like to be up but whatever. I open the fridge and look for something good. No leftovers... I shut the fridge and open my snack cabinet. Nothing looks good right now. Hmm, what kind of cereal do I have? 

I look over the cereal I have and I see my favorite kind. (sorry if you don't like cereal lmao) I pull it out and grab the cereal from the fridge. I make myself a bowl and put the ingredients away. I sit down at my dining table with my cereal and eat it. 

After I finish, I get up and wash the bowl. I wash it and put it in its appropriate place. I stretch and yawn before walking back to my room. Before I enter I hear a noise come from my room. I live alone and I have no pets/my pet(s) are/is asleep in another room. I stop walking. 

I quickly but quietly walk back to the kitchen and grab a knife that I know will suffice in protecting me. I walk back to my room with the knife ready. I walk into my room and quickly look around for whatever or whoever made the noise. I don't see anything nor do I hear anything so I lower the knife with a sigh. 

Someone grabs my hand from behind me. The hand with the knife. Then they grab my other hand and use it to cover my own mouth. "Mmph!" I try to shout for help but it just comes out muffled. 

"Shh..." I hear someone whisper in my ear. They sound like... Matt? Who I hope is Matt takes his hands away from me, taking the knife as he does so and seemingly throwing it somewhere. I swiftly turn around to see Matt but... his eyes are red and his skin is extremely pale. He also has... fangs? 

"Matt w-what?-" I try to ask about his looks but he cuts me off. "I got bit by a vampire." He shrugged like it was nothing. My eyes widen slightly but I quickly start chuckling nervously. "Haha. Funny joke, Matt. We've been friends since we were little you think I'd fall for a silly joke like that? Vampires aren't even real." I chuckle again. He gives me a serious look. "I'm serious, Y/N." 

The weight of the situation hits me like a piano would if it fell on top of me. "Does... Does anyone else know?" I ask and take a step backward out of fear. He shakes his head. "No, I only just recently got bit. You're the first one I came to. I-I don't know what to do." He sighs and looks me in the eyes. He seems really mature right now. Matt is usually childish and narcissistic but right now... he's being serious. 

I don't know what to do either so I don't know why he would come to me. "I don't know what to do either. Why would you come to me instead of your roommates?" My voice is a little shaky due to my fear. "Because you're... I don't know. You're not like them. Tom wouldn't care, Edd would probably just freak out, and Tord... I don't know what he'd do honestly but he probably wouldn't help me." He sighed again. "And I love you. As more than a friend." He blushes, slightly. 

My eyes widen and I blush. "Is now r-really an appropriate time to confess to me?" I ask, nervously. He chuckles in response. "Maybe a kiss would help me?" He steps closer to me and I blush harder. "I-I don't really t-think that would help your-" I get cut off as he kisses me. My eyes widen more but I melt into it and kiss back. 

He pulls away after a second. Obviously, he's still a vampire. "Worth a shot." He shrugs and kisses me again.
