sorry its so short but yk short and sweet or whatever 

  My eyes open to see the spot next to me empty. I sit up in my bed and rub my eyes. I look around the room for Edd. Where had he gone?

I slowly get out of bed and go to the kitchen. He must be there. I see Edd drinking something (probably cola) as I enter the kitchen. He looks over at me with a soft smile. "Y/N, my dear, why are you awake?" He puts his cup in the sink and comes over to me. It's dark but I can see the bags under his eyes. "You weren't in bed..." I respond groggily while rubbing my eyes. He hugs me tightly but comfortably. I hug back with a smile. He pulls away and looks at his phone. 

"It's 4 AM. Are you hungry or thirsty?" He asks, softly. His voice is so mesmerizing. "Mmm, can you get me some water?" He chuckles and pulls out a cup from one of the cupboards. He fills it up with water from the fridge after putting ice in it. He gives it to me and I drink some. 

"Come on let's go back to bed, dear." He grabs my hand and walks back to our room with me following. Once we get to our room I put my cup on my nightstand and lay down, getting under the covers. Edd does the same and faces me. I face him. He smiles warmly at me and I smile back. 

"I love you, Y/N." He says to me as he pokes the tip of my nose. I giggle before responding, "I love you more." he shakes his head. "Fine, I love you the most." I frown. "Nuh uh." He chuckles. "Oh, so we're lying now?" I giggle once more and kiss him. He kisses back passionately. I pull away for air and then nuzzle my face in his chest. He strokes my hair while kissing my head every now and then. He eventually wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me closer. 

I can hear him softly snoring after a few minutes. "I love you," I whisper softly then fall asleep with him.
