Chapter 10

The first week went by without any other 'confessions' by Kawa and Iwa had started to settle down again. He was looking forward to the match 'Setters against Aces' partly because he wanted to beat Oikawa. He found himself smiling to himself.

"Iwa chan, you look like a serial killer when you smile like that" Kawa teased. The spikey haired boy looked at his friend with a smirk, "I would never be a serial killer, dumbass". "I'm glad" Kawa responded. Iwa looked intently at his friend and growled, "you have to kill more than 2 people to be a serial killer. I only need to get rid of 1" Makki and Matsun began laughing hysterically whilst Kawa stood with his hands on his hips pouting, I know you love me Iwa chan, you need to stop living in denial" and with that the Captain walked off.

The teams made their way to the large indoor court to play their match. Kawa and Suga had decided to let Yahaba and Kageyama play as they were going to be involved in the match the day before they left the training camp. However there was an ulterior motive for Kawa, he thought that it would be the perfect opportunity to watch his crush in action.

The Setter team consisted of -

Kageyama for Karasuno
Kenma for Nekoma
Akaashi for Fukurodani
Yahaba for Aoba Johsai
Atsumu for Inarizaki
Semi and Shirabu decided to share the position by alternating

The Aces team consisted of -

Asahi for Karasuno
Yamamoto for Nekoma
Bokuto for Fukurodani
Iwaizumi for Aoba Johsai
Aran was going to alternate with Sakusa from Itachiyama
Ushijima for Shiratorizawa

Suga and Oikawa sat together with the Karasuno and Aoba Johsai teams. "Damn Suga, how hot does Iwa chan look" Kawa whispered. "You need to speak to him and tell him how you feel" Suga responded. "I can't Suga, why would he want me? He only just tolerates me as a friend". "Kawa, you're an amazing friend, your so kind and caring especially to him" Suga pointed out. "He deserves so much though, I'm just not good enough for him"

Suga couldn't believe what he was hearing, "No, Kawa. Stop that now. Iwa isn't exactly prince charming. He's angry and loses his temper with you so easily. So stop putting yourself down" "Please Suga, don't say those things about him"..

"Oh my God"Makki shouted catching Kawa's attention. "Ushiwaka has just collided with Iwa and he's out cold". Kawa turned around, his face distorted with shock. He jumped up and ran onto the court pushing people out of his way.

Kawa knelt on the ground beside his friend and ran his fingers through his hair and cupped the boys face in his hands. "Iwa please wake up, can you hear me. Please Iwa chan". The boy could feel tears slowly rolling down his face. "Will someone please help him" Kawa screamed. "Kawa, calm down".

The setter's eyes immediately fell on his friends face, "Oh my God, Iwa chan. Don't scare me like that" he sniffled. "Stop crying dumbass" Iwa whispered pulling the boy into a hug, I'm fine".

Suga looked at Makki and Matsun and winked, "I bet they're together before we leave this training camp" " Bet" Makki responded.
