Paige's POV
Hello, I'm Paige Baker. I'm 15 and I live in Sands Point, Long Island. I was born in Queens and was raised there by my mom and dad along with my older brother Ryan. It was going great until my parents died in a car wreck. It was the worst day of my life. I lost not one but two parents to a drunk driver.
Me and my brother moved in with our aunt until we were allowed to access our inheritance from our parents. Once my brother turned eighteen we moved back into our parents' house, and with him being within legal age he became my guardian.
Of course our newfound freedom came with a price, we ended up moving back into a house only twenty minutes away from Ryan's bestfriend Chase Matthews. Who I like to call the spawn of Satan himself.
He's been tormenting me my entire life, like that one time when I was in third grade he made a bet with my crush to ask me out, then dump me a month later for his ex-girlfriend in front of everyone, (who by the way didn't even want him back).
You would think that Chase living three hours away from us for those four years he would've grown out of his petty tricks. Of course I was wrong and turns out that now he was even worse.
