The New Me

Paige's POV 

My eyes slowly opened and I yawned. I got out of my bed, and started to get dress for my day at the mall with Kyle. We're going to get some news clothes for school since all my clothes are now 4 sizes too big. I decided on a blue t-shirt, jean jacket, pink leggings, flats, and to finish my outfit off I got me some teal sunglasses. 

I ran down the stairs and found Ryan eating 8 pancakes all covered in whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and powdered sugar, how that boy stays so skinny I'll never know.

"Ryan I'm going to the mall with Kyle to get clothes for school," I reminded him.

He just nodded in my direction while stuffing his greedy self with his plate full of diabetes. 

After I ate breakfast I ran upstairs to unplug my phone, and right when I unplugged it, it started to play Cher Lloyd's Oath that's Kyle's ringtone. I didn't answer the phone I just out the house to his car, and hopped in.

"What you running for, did you miss me that much" he asked smiling.

"I'm running because I can, and no I didn't miss you now drive." I said grinning.

"Whatever, which store do you wanna go to?" He asked.

"The mall! Duh jeez you can be so stupid sometimes," I stated. "Gosh I don't know how Ashlyn puts up with you!" I laughed

"RUDE," He mumbled pouting and crossing his arms.

"Oh, come on I'm just kidding Boo now drive." I said smiling at him.

4 hours later: Forever 21 ---------------------------------------

Kyle's POV

"Paige hurry up, we've been in here for the past 4 hours!" I whined. This girl has tried on almost everything in the store and has only picked out 6 things that she's liked.

"Don't rush me, Idiot," she shouted back at me.

"Uhhhhhh," I wined.

"Okay, I'm ready!" She yelled. "How do I look?" She asked me.

She was wearing a red crop top and black high-waisted shorts.

"Ryan is never gonna let you wear that in public." I reminded her.

"I know, but it's still cute right?" She asked

"Yes you look very cute Paige." I assured her.

"I know I am," she stated

"Conceited b****" I mumbled.
"I HEARD THAT!" She shouted laughing

"I KNOW CAUSE I SAID IT OUT LOUD!" I shouted back at her.

"Whatever lets go, I'm ready" she said after changing back into her clothes.

"Finally," I said glad that we could finally leave.

We went up to the counter to pay for the clothes and left.

I helped Paige load all her crap into the car and drove back to her house. 

30 minutes later: Paige's House--------------------------------

Paige's POV 

Once we got back to my house we decided to play Tekken 9 on the Xbox, and of course I was winning. 

"Come on, Come on, Yes! Oh yeah I beat you!" I cheered doing my victory dance, and ignoring the stares from my brother's friends.

"Whatever Paige it was just a game." He said 

"Sup Paiger, interesting dance." I heard one of my brother's best friends, Derek I think was name, say when I stopped dancing. 

"You look much different, whatever you did it worked." He said smiling at me.

"All she did was starve herself while we were gone." Chase laughed rolling his eyes.

"You know what forget you Chase! I screamed throwing the controller at him and stormed off upstairs

. As soon as I got to my room I jumped onto my bed, and started screaming into my pillow. Ten minutes later, I heard a knock at the door.

"Paige?" I heard Chase call. 

"Leave me alone Chase!" I screamed to angry and hurt to talk to him.

"Paige, come on I want to talk to you for a second and you know apologize," he whispered quietly but loud enough for me to hear him.

I got up and let him in the room and sat back on my bed with my back facing him. He sat down beside me and touched my hand.

"Paige, I'm sorry for what I said, and for making fun of you, and for calling you fat when we were younger," he apologized, which was a shocker since he never apologizes. 

It wasn't the sweetest apology I could've gotten but at least it was something.

We just sat there in silence staring at each other before he did something shocking both me and maybe even him.

Chase's POV

I gently moved a strand of hair from out of her face, so I could see her eyes. I kept my eyes locked on Paige's and noticed a speck of blue in her eyes, that made her green eyes even more beautiful.

I wanted to know everything about the girl sitting besides me, and more than anything I wanted to feel her lips on mine.

The silence became unbearable, and without thinking I kissed her. The warmth of her mouth sent a current running through my body.

Paige's POV

Oh My Gosh, Chase is kissing me. I didn't know what to do, I mean this is my first kiss. I can't screw this up, so without thinking I wrapped my arms around his neck, and got lost in his peppermint breath and soft lips. 

Just like that the kiss was over. I suddenly became aware of what just happened, and before I could say anything there was s knock at my door.

"Paige? Chase?" Ryan called.

"Ye-yeah," Chase called back stuttering at first.

"Act casual," I whispered running over to my desk and pretending to be interested in some book of Kyle's. "Come in Ryan," I called back.

"Hey, you two Chase come on you came up here to apologize like 10 minutes ago. What's taking you so long?" He asked leaning against the wall.

"Umm, yeah I was actually just finishing apologizing to her. I have to be somewhere though so I'll be leaving soon," Chase responded getting up from his place on my bed.

"Okay then, Paige hurry up we bought a pizza if you want a slice you better hurry and get down there." Ryan said walking out of the room.

I watched him walk away then shut my door, and turned around to see Chase staring at me. He looked into my eyes, and I was starting to get uncomfortable under his stare. It wasn't long until he sighed and walked away. 

"Later Paige," he mumbled and walked out my door

What the heck just happened?

Looks like Chaige/Paiase got another special moment. Paige even got a special moment of her own, her first kiss. Okay, I hope you guys like my book so far, sorry if some of these chapters seem crappy this is my first time in forever writing a story.
