Last Time//

Chase:

It sucked that I couldn't see or hear the reaction or expression she would've made if she was awake. But right now I don't care if she couldn't or wouldn't say it back.

I just wanted to assure that in some way she'd know how I felt and that I could at least prove to myself that I had the balls to admit that I loved her. It doesn't exactly reassure my ego since she's in a coma but hey I'll take what I can get.

Paige:

Why does it everything seem so fuzzy? I swear of someone doesn't make that beeping stop I'll scream! Why am I hooked up so many monitors? Gosh why does it smell so sterile in here?

I could hear the footsteps and faint sounds of someone moving around and talking. I tried moving my body put nothing happened. I tried talking, screaming, and sighing but nothing happened. I could make out bits in pieces of the conversation going on next to me, but I couldn't figure out who they were talking about.

All of sudden I heard the sound of something heavy closing and I felt someone grab my hand. It seemed like hours before he said anything to me but when he finally did all he said was: "I love you Paige. These last couple of months without you have been hell. I miss your laugh, smile, personality, and you in general. And I'm sorry for hurting you but I promise one day I'll make it up to you."

Who's Paige and what is he sorry for? Why and how did he hurt her if he loves her? But why is he telling me this? Why are there strangers in my room and why is this guy holding my hand like we know each other? All of sudden i felt him drop my hand and I listened to the sound of his footsteps walk away before the room got silent again. I laid here and tried moving my hand again and I suddenly felt one of my fingers twitch. Ok now I just have to get the rest of my body to follow along.

Present Time//A few hours after Chase left

Paige's POV:

People, beeping sounds, walking, and more noises was all I heard when I first woke up. I started to move my fingers but it still hurt really badly. It's bad enough that I'm dealing with this agonizing pain shooting across my body, but could they keep it down? I don't even know them why are they here anyways. I lifted my head up cautiously and looked around and all I saw were a bunch of strangers.

"Oh my gosh, Paige you're awake I thought we lost you! Thank goodness you're okay! Well as okay for someone in your condition to be." This random girl said hugging me. I didn't know what to do so I just sat there in confusion.

I looked over her shoulder to my right where the door was and I saw four people, men to be exact standing in my room. Well one man and three teenagers. Two of them were talking to a guy in a lab coat, but the other one was just staring at me awkwardly like he didn't know what to do.

"Paige how did you feel? Are you still in pain, that was a pretty bad fall you went through. Why do you look so confused are you mad at me? I promised me and Kyle tried to catch you. Paige are you gonna respond back to one of my questions? Gosh I feel like I'm talking to a wall." That same girl just won't stop talking.

Gosh I kinda want to push her into a brick wall just to stop all these damn questions.

"Ashlyn, stop asking her so many questions. Obviously she isn't fine you and Kyle saw what happened if she was fine we wouldn't have had to wait for so long for her to wake up. And Ryan, for the love of all things good in the world can you and Kyle leave the doctor alone and stop asking him the same questions so much? He already answered your questions so many times give the man a break." The guy who kept staring at me, out of nowhere snapped rolling his eyes at them.
