Fluff
*Not Requested*~~~~
"Why don't you go out and dance, Y/N?" A soft voice called from behind you.
Vivian, your best friend, twirled around you with a smile plastered on her face. All night she was receiving an unalarming amount of attention from the men at the party. She was on cloud nine since she arrived. You, on the other hand, were not. You were happy for her, but you'd be lying if you said you wouldn't want to share some of the spotlight.
You wore your freshly brought off-the-shoulder dress, the fabric was of the highest quality. The fabric was dyed in the deepest shade of F/C. The sides of the sleeves were lined in various sparkling gems. You looked beautiful, though it seemed no one shared the same belief. A sigh sounded from you as you made your way to the wall, embracing your usual wallflower title.
"Don't have too much fun, Viv!" You called over your shoulder to the girl. A shrill of glee was your only response as she was quite literally swept off her feet.
"I guess that won't be happening after all." You mumbled to yourself, a slight chuckle accompanying the statement.
You stayed in that position for a while, watching the night play out before you. The room was full of life as people danced and drank glass after glass until they were nothing more but a few slurred words. You continued observing the scene until your eyes clashed with striking mahogany ones, nearly pure ruby. You studied his face from afar, drinking in his features one by one. As you were doing so, you noticed his mouth twitch into a smirk, and with a blink, he was gone.
"What the-"
"Could I offer you a drink, Milady?"
You stepped back in shock at the sudden voice. Looking to your right, you spotted the man you just observed from afar. That same devilish grin seemed to grow as he saw the confusion swirling in your orbs. Your brows furrowed slightly as you tried to make sense of how he seemingly teleported next to you.
"I- how did you get over here so fast?" You inquired, head-turning to face the crowd to see if someone witnessed the sight as well.
"The servants of the Phantomhive Manor are known for their speed, Milady. Plus, you seemed a little parched from the way you were looking at me. Though, I do believe you had the same effect on me." His eyes poured into yours. His words sent jolts of electricity through you, and you stepped back a bit.
You swallowed thickly at his shameless flirting and directed your eyes to the floor as you stumbled to form a response. His words nearly put you in a trance, and you narrowly evaded his advances.
"A-are you sure you haven't had a few sips of that," you tilted your head towards the platter with alcoholic beverages resting on his gloved hand, "Because you seem rather bold for a butler."
He merely chuckled and discarded the platter on a nearby table. You watch him closely, trying to understand what exactly he was planning. He seemed intrigued by you, but you had a hard time believing he was hitting on you for no reason. People, you learned, were always looking for something from you in particular. You were the head of the L/N's, a highly respected and influential family.
'Is he trying to get connections for his young lord?" You pondered. You heard of the tragedy that descended upon the Phantomhive family. The news was shocking, and many people tried to take advantage of the young Phantomhive's age. Though it seemed he managed the title well enough. Those who crossed him appeared to disappear without a trace. You couldn't help but feel the man before you was the culprit of these disappearances.
"You seem lost in thought." You were pulled out of your stream of thoughts by the butler's enchanting voice. The look on his face demanded your attention, and you're not opposed to giving it.
"I'm sorry, your boldness seemed to throw me for a loop." You voiced, a ghost of a smile resting on your face. You decided to play along with his games. You hate to admit it, but you were drawn to him and hoped his attention was due to his interest.
Amusement ignited over his face, and you could have sworn his eyes flashed a fuchsia shade before fading back. You chose to ignore it, surely it was the trick of the light. The music slowed into a slow rhythm, prompting people to sway along.
"May I have this dance, Milady." He bowed, offering his gloved hand to you. You slid your hand into his and allowed him to lead you into the middle of the dance floor. He wrapped a hand around your plush midsection and pulled you flushed against him. The familiar feelings of butterflies filled your stomach, but you dared not to show how effective his actions were.
As you began to sway with the man, who you still haven't caught the name of, you noticed the attention the two of you drew. Many jealous glances were sent your way, causing you to feel a little overwhelmed.
"WOOO, YOU GO, Y/N!" You perked up at the sound of a familiar voice shouting words of encouragement. You peered over the butler's broad shoulders and spotted Vivian waving at you from the crowd. Vivian and her date were whooping for the two of you. A chuckle sounded from you as you sent her a thankful smile.
'Viv, what did I ever do to deserve you?'
Your eyes found themselves back on your dance partner. He was already looking at you, causing you to try to break the awkwardness of being studied so carefully.
"May I have your name?" You inquired, allowing him to dip you.
"I am the humble butler of lord Phantomhive, Sebastian Michaelis, it is a pleasure to meet you..." He trailed off, urging you to reveal your name as well.
"Y/N, Y/N L/N, and the pleasure is all mine." He brought your hand up to his lips and placed a soft kiss on the back.
He lingered for a bit before pulling away, searching your eyes for a reaction. Your heart rate quickened at the action, but you refused to give him the satisfaction of seeing you become flustered. While it was not an unusual action and something you have been accustomed to, something about the way he looked at you sent shivers down your spine. He knew exactly what he was doing and used his charm against you.
"I'm sorry, but you look ravishing, dear."
You opted to rest your head on his firm chest rather than responding, fearing you would embarrass yourself.
'Damn you, Sebastian. You and your devilish charm.' You expressed inwardly.
The music once again faded away, and a voice announced the end of the party. People made their way to the exit, but you lingered, a bit reluctant to pull away from the man just yet.
"It appears this night has come to an end, Y/N. I must let you go now, but" he leaned close to your ear, warm breath washing over it, "This will not be the last you see of me, I'm sure." His words sounded like a promise rather than wishful thinking. You too hoped to see him again, and with that, you left with the remaining guests.
You spared a glance at the manor once you were seated in the carriage alongside a sleeping Vivian. You searched through the mansion's windows before you once again spotted Sebastian. Even though the night enveloped your carriage and other leaving guests, he spotted you. This time you looked closer and noticed his eyes again.
This time you were sure his eyes were a vibrant fuchsia, and he didn't attempt to hide them from you.
'Just what are you, Sebastian Michaelis?'

I don't how many of you watched Black Butler, but I decided why not write about Sebastian? The anime is pretty old (Came out in 2008), but I just had to shed some light on it. I know how hard it is to find fanfics/one-shots for a dead fandom! So maybe this is a bit self-indulgent (considering it is my favorite anime), lol! I hope you all enjoyed it regardless! I love you all and have a great day/night. ~ Fandom<3
