Flower Bites

Today is the second blessing of my restaurant since we are fully operating and I Invited Rosé, Jisoo and some of our friends. We had a successful soft opening in the first two weeks and I can say that people are really loving all the recipes I put on the menu.

Mom and Dad were not around because they went abroad for their wedding anniversary. They wanted to cancel it but I told them that they should go. My brother V was so supportive and he's here. 

I also invited Lisa. I know that one of our rule is for her not to know all bout my personal life, but I feel like inviting her on this event.

It was so busy inside the restaurant because we still accepted customers to dine. While my feet were running here and there as the blessing is about to start, I saw Lisa through the glass wall holding a bouquet of flowers. She didn't see me yet and she looked very shy and nervous. She handed the flowers to the guard and instructed him. She then leaned on the tree and lit a cigarette. I didn't know she's smoking. She's also smoking hot on her look now in a black long sleeves shirt, brown pants and white sneakers. I chuckled when the guard gave me the flowers and I stared at Lisa outside. She's really shy to come in.

I approached her back and she immediately threw her cigarette at the bin.

"Hi. Congratulations!" She greeted me.

"Beautiful flowers. I don't know how you guessed that I like daisies? Come in." I said and smiled. She nodded and followed me with shaking knees.

I led her to the table at the corner. I got a cup of spiced hot chocolate and some garlic bread sticks for her. She commended the taste. 

"I'll invite my best friend RM and we'll dine here on payday. I'm so excited to taste your recipes." She said and smiled. I don't know why I kept looking on her neck. She's so sexy. She looked at me and I realized how attractive she really is. 

"You're going to taste them later. Do you like the interiors?" I winked at her and she smiled while nodding.

"Hi Jen!" Ricky, one of my high school classmates who is also my meat supplier arrived and came over to the table we're seated and he's with a pretty girl. She's probably her girlfriend.

"Hi Rick! It's so good to see you. Oh god. We're just talking over the phone for weeks about business. Finally!" I stood up and gave him a hug. I noticed Lisa was surprised looking at the woman who is with Ricky.

"I missed you, Jen! I am so happy that you finally put up your own restaurant here, Chef. Really a good spot. By the way, this is Diane, my girlfriend. We just became official a week ago." The woman smiled at me but she really looked anxious and taking glances at Lisa. Lisa looked at me and I saw how uncomfortable she is through her eyes. When Ricky and his girlfriend took a seat on the table behind us, I asked Lisa how she is. But she couldn't start her word.

"One of those before?" I'm the one who asked.

"Yes. But that was just a one night stand. I never dated anyone. Didn't have the means to do so." She said and looked down. I just looked at her and remained serious. God. Should I start counting all the women she had in the past? Why are you even bothered, Jennie?

Rosé, Jisoo and the rest of our friends came. I introduced Lisa to them and I could see the smiles on their faces seeing her under a bright light. Rosé kept telling me how beautiful Lisa is while we walked towards the officiant who will bless this place. 

"I think she's also good in bed." I whispered to Rosé and she's speechless. 

"Your restaurant is about to be blessed yet you're thinking of something else." Rosé said while laughing at me.
