I'm in a dash to get a cab because it's rush hour. I had to go to my apartment first and take a shower since I came from my job at BK and I don't want to smell like burger coming to Jennie's high school reunion. She asked me if I can be her date. Who would say no if it's Jennie Kim asking you?

But of course, it comes with a great limit. We can't hold each other's hand. We can't even act as 'us', meaning, I have to be a little distant from her. Because until now that we're on our second year as a couple, we are still hiding the truth to the world.

It hurts me, but what can I do? I really do love Jennie and I don't want to lose her. We can't even tell her family yet about us. Well, her twin brother knows and he supports us. 

I was running on this hotel where the reunion will be held. I immediately called my girlfriend as she has to hand me my coat. Rosé, the singing star was the one who approached me at the lobby.

"Jen's Dad is here. We didn't know he was invited to speak. Relax. Okay?" Rosé warned me. Shit. I feel so nervous upon entering the function hall.

Just in time for dinner. God. I am so hungry. I didn't have time to eat before I came here. I was about to take the chair beside Jisoo. I'm so happy that Rosé invited her too and I won't feel out of place and shy. But Jennie insisted that I should sit beside her. She even shredded the meat on my plate through her fork. She's always doing this. Sweet. Caring. Everything you like about a wife, she got it all. That's why I also think of other ways to make her happy with me.

We are enjoying the meal while we watch their batch's memories through photos and videos being played on the big screen. It was even mentioned that Jennie was their batch valedictorian in high school.

"Impressive. Pretty girl with a powerful brain, huh?" I said and she smiled.

But we suddenly looked at each other when her father's name was called to have his speech right after the slideshow.

"What if I kiss you while your father is talking right there? Will he kill me if he sees us?" I whispered my tease. Jennie laughed.

"Ah! Lisa! Don't you ever do that. But can I still get that kiss later?" She asked with her charming voice.

"All yours and even more than that if you want. I love you." I said. She took my hand and brought it under the table and intertwined our fingers.

"I love you." She told me with her most sincere eyes. God. I can't stop falling in love with my woman everyday. 

We continued listening to her Dad and I really like the way her father inspires people. He was invited to speak here because without a doubt, his media company where I work is the number one outfit all over South Korea and we have shows too that are viewable all over the world. He's truly an inspiration! And not just that, he donated some money at Jennie's school last year for a building project.

I was shocked when his eyes darted on me. Shit. Is he monitoring Jennie and I? Is this the day that we are afraid of coming? Why too soon? Damn. Yeah, Jennie and I are already in a relationship for two years but it feels like we'll be caught very soon.

"But before I end my speech, I would like to recognize someone who has brought a big appeal to my company. You can hear her at night. She probably put you to good sleep already because of her lovely voice. She might be surprised now that I know her, but yes, I know her. And I know she's been hiding her identity through airwaves and doesn't tell everyone that she's your DJ L, but here she is. Lisa, would you mind to tell a story right here? Maybe one from thousands of love letters you get every night? Don't worry. What they will know here inside will remain as a secret. No one will take photos and videos of you, and for sure, they will not publicize your identity. Will you?"
