L: Dad, I am sorry to disturb you. I would just like to ask if it is possible to meet you tonight over dinner? I am not going to ask for money. This is so important to me. I am getting married and as a respect, I would like you to meet her. Only if you are interested. I understand if you prefer not to see me. I would just like to let you know that I am getting married.

It took me hours to think if I am going to send that message to my father or not. But there, I sent it. I am not expecting a reply. We all know he never considered me as his child. What's important is, I showed my respect. He is still my father.

I'm now here at the radio booth talking to my listeners. I started receiving callers again so I can give them the pleasure they need talking to me and expressing their love to someone through the waves.

While a young lady was telling her story on the radio, I got a notification from my phone. It's my father. I couldn't believe he would respond.

Dad: Ok. 67th Street of Jungga. The hotel across Square Park. Meet me at nine-thirty over dinner inside at Rafols.

My eyes widened. I took a screenshot of our conversation and sent it to Jennie. I couldn't hold my joy anymore. Jennie is so happy knowing that my Dad wants to meet us tonight. She said she'll be driving now to pick me up in a while.

As soon as the caller is done telling her love story, I gave her some advices and I played a song. I smiled recalling that Jennie and I made love last night while we played this song up from her phone.

"Do you guys know what's on my mind right now? A sexy girl. A sexy girl with the sexiest soul. So, here's 'Glory Box' by Portishead for her. Enjoy the evening and may we all have a good sleep. This is your DJ L saying, just fall in love. Good night."

I keep smiling while listening to the song. I took my phone and I got a message from my girlfriend.

J: Music is too sexy right now, huh? Can't get over last night? I am still tuning in. I can't believe that the beautiful person behind this sexy voice is going to be officially mine forever. I can't wait to marry you.

My joy is captivating my whole body.

L: I love you. I really love you, sexy girl. Last night was mind-blowing. You're amazing! Someday, I am going to give you the wedding that you really deserve, my love. I am sorry. Right now, this is all that I can.

J: What are you saying? What's wrong with civil wedding? I love you, Lisa. What's important to me is what we always share to each other. Thank you for always taking care of me. You are more than enough. I love you.

L: I know. You never made me feel that being poor is a disadvantage. Well, it is in some aspects but I really thank you for giving me the love that motivates me in all ways, love. And I hope you put your phone down first and focus on the road as you drive. Be safe.

Jennie picked me up and both of us are so nervous upon entering the place where my Dad is inside this luxurious building. From afar, I can already see him waiting for us at the restaurant. I saw his men too. They bowed and we greeted them back.

I never let go of Jennie's fingers intertwined to mine.

Dad is looking at us as I pulled out a chair for my girlfriend.

"Good evening, Senator. I am Jennie Kim."

"Good evening, Dad."

He just nodded. It's a miracle that he never stopped me from calling him 'Dad'. He invited us to eat with him. He's very observant. I saw softness in his eyes when he saw Jennie putting food on my plate and really takes care of me.
