LISA

My flight going back to Korea will still be in the afternoon so I spent the day roaming around Italy. I asked help from Kai in renting a car and driver so it won't be hard for me to go back and forth. He insisted to drive for me using the school bus. Funny but I think it's cute!

We roamed around and there's one place I really want to visit and take pictures for my Mom to see. She's a Shakespeare fan and why not feel Romeo and Juliet's romance while I'm here in Verona.

"I never thought you are this romantic, huh?" Kai teased me while we're on our way to the secretaries of Juliet.

"I really do not know if it's just a fictional idea from the movie or it really exists." I said.

"You mean the letters? Lisa, you're just in time! As far as I know, it's seasonal. Let's check it out?" He's more excited.

"Maybe if I write a letter, it would reach the person I love." I told Kai everything when he went to my place last night.

We arrived and we find ourselves so lucky because there are only few tourists and locals around.

In this old cream building, we found the hole where letters are being placed for the secretaries of Juliet to receive.

But unfortunately, it's locked.

I admit, I am a bit disappointed.

"Trying to put in your romantic piece?" A woman in her 40s speaking from behind.

"I am one of the secretaries of Juliet. Look on the other side. We have something more romantic. I planned it myself." She led us to the other corner and there are a lot of symbols drawn on pieces of old sheet.

She gave me a pen and two small old book smelling papers.

"You put a symbol different from what you can already find on the wall. There are already hearts and stars, so, you cannot use them anymore. Try to think of any other." She said smiling.

As my eyes went through each piece, I am doubting if I can still think of a symbol of my own. But I thought of Jennie.

A daisy, her favorite flower.

I drew it down and gave it to the lady.

She posted it on the old wall.

"Daisy. Romantic on your own. Now, on the other sheet, draw a small daisy on the upper right and write down your address." I did as she said.

"A passer by will get one and when he or she goes to our office, she will be able to get your instructions from us. And mystery follows. You get what I mean? We're not getting your name. Let Juliet prove to you that love really moves in mysterious ways. I hope you'll get a letter." This woman is so soft-spoken and to be honest, she gave me hope.

After that, Kai and I strolled around. We had our lunch just around the area. I am really falling in love in this place. I watched the film Letters To Juliet but I never thought the feeling would really be the same. I can't really explain the nostalgia because it is more of a bright and hopeful romance being here.

It's time for me to go to the airport. I insisted that we should walk by again on that Casa and look if my paper was taken by someone.

We did and it surprised me seeing that my daisy is no longer posted on the wall.

Kai and I are teasing each other about my letter sender. But as I look on the other side, I saw a figure of a woman walking on the end of the aisle. A familiar figure that I have known for a long time. The same hair the last time I saw Jennie. And she is the only woman I know that has that sexy body. She is not tall but my girlfriend has the sexiest legs.
