*Victoria's hide out a few days later*

Victoria stood off to the side as her army was growing restless. She had figured out days ago that the Volturi had been watching over her army. Making the decision of whether or not to kill her for causing so much commotion. She was being too risky, going after the Cullens like this.

"Riley, I need you to round them up. We leave tomorrow," Victoria grumbled, letting the boy grovel at her feet, doing anything she wanted.

The Elite Guard stood, watching the red head plan out her own death. The Bonneau's were powerful, more so half of their army. Ever since the news of Bella Swan knowing of vampires, the Volturi had been keeping tabs on the clan. They had soon found the two witches had been under their care.

The guard knew the sisters quite well. Aro never liked not having tabs on the powerful coven. 

"Alec, I want those little newborns dead by tomorrow. They've broken too many laws to be allowed to live," Jane growls. She hated those little mongrels down there. They were killing so many people and leaving their bodies just out in the open.

Alec brings his hand up to her shoulder, calming her slightly. "And the Cullens will deal with them. Those little newborns have no chance at winning against the witches. You know how much potential the little one had the last we had seen her."

"What little one. I don't remember her. I just remember the one that tried to stab me with a tree," Felix shudders at the memory. The child still haunted him to this day.

"Dumbass, that is who we're talking about," Demetri hits the back of his best friends head. Felix always had had a terrible memory, even for being vampire. But he did speak the truth, Caroline was scary, even as a child. She had been wondering too far in the forest behind her house during one of the days the Elite Guard was supposed to be passing through the Bonneau's land. In truth, it was a hilarious interaction.

(Flashback)

"Who goes there?" a childish voice yells. Felix had been running slightly behind his fellow guard members. Telling them he would pick up the flank incase an attack was to happen from behind them. Demetri had taken the front, so it was the twins that were the closest to him.

Felix stopped in his tracks, not knowing why a human child could even hear them, or knew they were there. A little blonde haired child peaked her head out from behind a tree, finding the large man standing in her backyard.

"What are you doing in my backyard?" she asked him, glaring at him with her little arms folded in front of her. Felix only stared at the strange child.

'Why was she just in the forest?' he thought to himself.

Felix could hear Demetri laughing about 50 yards away. Not doing anything to help him, but leaving him with the child. "Where are your parents? They know why I'm here," he told her, finally turning to her.

Little Caroline gasped, never actually seeing a vampire before. Her father and grandma always told her to be wary of ones with blood red eyes. "Vampires are not supposed to be on our land," she continues to glare at him.

"Well, talk to your parents and they'll explain why I'm here. Now run along and let me continue with my mission."

When the child did not move even an inch, Felix took a deep, unneeded breath. His eyes were closed and in his mind it was only about 3 second that he wasn't looking at the child. 3 seconds was all that it took for Caroline to launch a fallen tree branch at the unexpecting vampire. Laughter could be heard throughout the forest.
