It was first day at school. Jeongin happy to see his friends again. Except for Chan. They spend all summer together. They all sat at a table at the cafeteria, everyone exited to tell how his summer went. All went to a vacation. Jeongin listened to their stories with a big smile on his face. Him and Chan did nothing special all summer. Only hanging out just the two of them. Doing nothing in particular.

"Did you hear? We have a new student. Pretty popular among the girls." Changbin said taking his seat at the table.

"If you are talking about Hyunjin, he is popular among everyone." Jisung said.

"Speaking of the devil..." Changbin said pointing at the entrance.

Hyunjin has just entered the cafeteria, bringing all the attention to himself. He was tall and pretty. Very pretty. He passed Jeongin's table. His eyes landing on the boy, smirking and winking at him. Making Jeongin blush.

"Oh my gosh! Did we all saw that?" Felix exhaled loudly.

"That pretty boy winked at our sweet Innie." Jisung said happily.

Jeongin was like sunshine. Bubbly and always smiling. He was like a rainbow. Everyone loved him. But he thought that all his friends were sunshine's as well.

Jeongin and Chan was heading home after school.

"I wanted to tell you that you didn't have to stay all summer with me. You should have gone to a vacation as well. I am happy that you stayed. But I feel bad for that." Jeongin told him.

"You know that I don't want to visit my parents, and you turned my invitation to come with me on vacation." Chan said.

Chan lived alone, his parents working over sea.

"You know that I hate when you pay for everything. It looks like I am your friend for your money." Jeongin said.

"I know damn well that you aren't my friend because of my money. You are my friend because of my body." Chan joked, making Jeongin to laugh.

When they neared Jeongin's home, he felt disappointed. He still didn't want to go home. Chan feeling that suggested that they should hand out some more, before going home. To that Jeongin happily agreed.

They have been friends for a long time. Chan's family moving in the house next to Jeongin. Instantly becoming best friends. Unlike Jeongin, Chan had a nice family. Jeongin was neglected by his family, so he spends most of his time with Chan's. His own family barely noticing when he was gone.

Chan became Jeongin's support during the years. That's why when his family went over sea, Chan stayed with Jeongin. Never leaving his side. Jeongin was happy and thankful. But felt guild that Chan was choosing him over his needs every single time.

When Chan moved in, Jeongin didn't like him. Chan was a cute boy with a loving family. Jeongin envied him so much and glared every time at him when he saw Chan.

One day Chan came to invite him for dinner. Until now Jeongin still doesn't know why he agreed. But he is glad he did. That was the first time that he felt what it was to have a family. Its not like his parents didn't love him. They just didn't care. But Chan did. He cared.

"I still think you should just move in with me." Chan told him.

"Yeah, and when will you find a girlfriend? Or a boyfriend or whatever your heart desires?" Jeongin said with a laugh.

"Right now, my heart wants your happiness." Chan said.

"And look where this gets you. Me being your first and only kiss. Don't you want to go on dates and stuff?" Jeongin asked.

When Chan and Jeongin hit puberty, they wanted to try stuff. Kissing was one of them. With no one else, since the were the only one they had as a friend, the decided why the heck not? Along with other embarrassing things the prefer to forget.

"I am perfectly fine, thank you." Chan said.

The next few das went like a blur, except for the lunch break. Jeongin could swear that every time Hyunjin entered the cafeteria, they made eye contact. He was sure that Hyunjin was watching him. And every time he turned towards him, he was already watching.

"Woah. Are we all seeing this? We are all seeing this, right?" Felix asked.

"Our pretty Innie caught the eye of the most popular boy in the school." Jisung said.

"You are imagining it." Jeongin said, glancing at Hyunjin again, who was still watching him.

"I bet that mister popular will ask you out." Felix said.

"Yeah, but I think he wants to do it when Innie is alone." Jisung added.

"So, we have to gave Innie some space. That includes you as well Channie." Felix said, pointing at Chan.

"How about no? Hm? What if I don't have an interest?" Jeongin said standing up from the table and going out of the cafeteria, dragging Chan with him.

They headed for their lockers to get what they needed for the classes that left.

"I'll see you after classes. Don't be late." Jeongin told Chan and headed to his next class.

And as said, Jeongin waited for Chan at the entrance, but Chan was late.

Jisung and Felix were holding him and hiding at the corner, wondering if they were right and Hyunjin wanted to talk to him alone after all.

"Hello pretty boy." Hyunjin greeted Jeongin with the prettiest smile he had.

Apparently he wanted to talk to the boy alone.
