HMS Prince Of Wales P.O.V

"So ya'll made an excessive effort so you could save an enemy? Shoot you ain't trying to earn any medals that's for sure" As I stared out the window of my office, I listened to Hornet speak to the two individuals who brought back that sakura ship, Ayanami I believe her name was.

"I apologize" Javelin spoke in a sombre tone.

"No please wait! There's nobody else here to blame but me. I am the one responsible for allowing it" Belfast then quickly interjected.

"That's noble of you to say" I turned around to face them. "But we need to send the right message to the others" Javelin lowered her head upon hearing my words.

"Well, okay then" Hornet said as she seemed to think of an idea. "Laffey, Javelin, as a consequence of your actions you're on prisoner supervision duty"

The two destroyers let out light gasps of surprise, even I was a little taken back by the small punishment, Ontario and Cleveland however suddenly smiled. "We've got a strict rule that prisoners of war need maximum care" Cleveland mentioned.

"So that means-" Even though she tried to ask, Javelin seemed to already have an idea of what they meant. "We're counting on you" Hornet confirmed. Laffey and Javelin suddenly lit up with happiness "Okay!" Javelin said with glee before quickly grabbing hold of Laffey's arm and pulling her along as the two of them rushed out of the office, leaving the five of us in awkward silence for some unusual time.

"I guess I'll start tea, there's more to discuss after all" Belfast eventually broke the silence with a new cheerful attitude and walked over towards the kettle, turned it on then began preparing the crockery.

The rest of us meanwhile made our way over to the couches where we sat down once again surrounded in a similar silence, although it was much shorter as I decided to speak up. "That was a light punishment" I mentioned. Belfast finished boiling the water and brought over the cups as well as sugar cubes. She placed a cup in front of each of us and began to pour out the tea as Cleveland responded. "Well there's no need to be overly harsh"

"Yeah she's right" Hornet agreed while dropping a few sugar cubes into her cup. "Just like coffee, tea and life in general, sweetness always helps"

"I suppose" I said. "Anyway this is the real problem" I then leaned over to open the black and red box on the table. With the push of a button the walls of the box opened revealing the black mental cube we previously acquired, however, it now had a dark aura to it, as if it were becoming unstable. "What's with the cube?" Ontario let out a small gasp. "Ever since the battle ended, the cube has been behaving quite abnormally. Unfortunately, there is no way to know exactly what it means" Belfast then answered.

"The black mental cube is the key to project Orochi, I have no doubt this is all part of the sirens plan" I continued.

"Well shoot. This definitely has something to do with my sister right?" Hornet asked, though she never got an answer as most of us seemed stuck in thought.

"What's the update on Enterprise?" I asked Belfast.

"We're performing diagnostics on her body and her gear, but so far nothing out of the ordinary"

"I always knew her to be an exceptional ship but, I was afraid of her back there, she was terrifying" Cleveland mentioned, thinking back to the battle. She was right, the formation of SBDs gliding through the air, the emotionless look on her face, her every action plagued with the intent to kill. It was as if her true self had disappeared and her body was merely a doll being controlled by a set of strings. The memory of the battle sent a chill down my spine
