This whole new generation of AI stuff is absolutely terrifying...
Yeah, that's right, I didn't hire a commission or draw these myself. Im not that talented.
These are all AI generated photos. For a long while I tried to stay away from these AI image generators because the thought seemed to weird me out at first but I eventually gave in to see if I could get a visual representation of who I was writing about and my god did some of them come out decent, I had to show them.
Of course there can be limits and I can't always get exactly what I wanted to which I can explain, but for the most part these are the general idea of who I think of when I write these characters.
Honestly, different opinions on looks are fine to say and some I may agree with but in general I immensely enjoy how these came out.
To be honest I don't have a great memory of how I've described the looks of the characters in the past, nor do I write them down to remember foolishly enough. so if some of these contradict what I've written in the past then I guess let me know, but I feel these for the most part can be the new look.
Another quick thing. if you wanna try it for your own books I say go for it, It helped a lot in visualising who I was writing and can even help me describe them better in the future.
I'd also like to see more Canadian azur lane books too. there's not enough of them. If you have an idea then try it. take some inspiration from your favorite books or even this one and put a plan into motion, just try not to rush it y'know? take it slow, practice writing and try not to give up. . . also use this AI stuff, it weirdly helps a lot but can also be annoying to get exactly what you want.
Anyway without further ado. I've only done a select few characters and are ranked from first to last in the ones I like the most to the ones I like the least.
~ William William was a little hard to get right, and many of the photos that came up weren't really consistent. These are the best that came out.
