"Tomoko!" Hange screamed at the girl to wake up, she had taken a nap because she didn't have anything to do.
"Huh, Hange? Is something wrong?" She drowsily spoke.
"Trost's walls have been broken, the colossal titan came back and it's being left up to the 104th cadet corps, you need to go immediately, Levi squad's already on their way." She hurried Tomoko up.
"What? It was left up to the cadets?" She scrambled to stand up, changing right away, disregarding the fact Hange was still in her room.
"What about you?" Tomoko asked, tightening her harnesses.
"I'll be right there." She winked
Tomoko nodded, and then sprinted out of the place where her and her other superiors resided. She ran as fast as she could.

Once she had gotten on top of wall Rose she saw hell breaking loose.
"Why the hell is that colossal bastard back?" She grunted, before leaping off the wall, soaring with her odm gear she landed on a rooftop with cadets from the 104th cadet corps on top of it. She only recognized one, the girl who was supposedly top of her class.
"Who's your commander?" She immediately spoke once she landed, gaining the cadets attention.
"Who are you?" A tall blonde boy asked.
"Tomoko Yamada, I'm a section commander, now answer the damn question."
"Keith Shadis Ma'am!" The boy saluted, she noticed he was trembling. She could only imagine what he had already seen.
"I see, have any of you seen Captain Levi?" She asked, "he should be here with his squad." No one answered.
"Damn," she sighed and soared to another building. She heard a sudden high pitched scream in the distance, one of pure terror. She cringed as she knew there were so many deaths occurring all around her. Not to mention how young they all were. As she hopped from roof to roof, she ended up noticing Petra on the ground, applying a bloodied cloth to a wound on a scout. She hopped down to see if she could help.
"Petra! What's the situation?" Tomoko ran up to see what had happened.
"Section Commander Tomoko! I can't stop the bleeding, can you do something?" She asked, desperate to help her comrade.
"I can try," she sighed. With the critical condition he was in, it was unlikely he'll survive. Tomoko took his cape off and slightly lifted him to wrap it around his wound as tightly as she could without hurting him even more.
"If applying as much pressure as we can doesn't stop the bleeding, he's as good as dead." She sighed, Petra slightly gasped but not loudly. They looked to their left when they heard someone land next to them.
"Captain," Petra started, "We can't stop the bleeding."
"C-Captain Levi.." the man on the ground struggled to call out for Levi. Tomoko stood and backed away, letting him speak to Levi in his last moments. Tomoko ignored their conversation as she stood silently. No matter how much she experienced it, she'll never get used to death.
"I'm sorry sir, he's gone." Petra spoke softly, tears flowing down her face.
Tomoko clenched her fists, her grip so strong her knuckles went white. She began walking off, leaving Levi and Petra behind. As she walked she heard a distant distorted screech.
"What the hell?" She muttered. She shot her anchors to a chimney and flew up to try and get a look of what that sound was. That was, when she noticed an odd looking titan, which by the looks of it, was about to collapse. She didn't say anything to Levi nor Petra before she took off towards the mysterious titan. On a roof nearby she saw Mikasa and a couple of other Cadets with her.
"Hey you guys, what the hells going on here?" She yelled as she landed, looking to where they all had their eyes fixated. A giant cloud of steam rose as the Titan she'd seen before was decomposing.
"Who're you?" A tall man with light brown hair and a strong jawline asked.
"Answer my question first and maybe you'll get an answer of your own." She scowled.
"Fine, the titan just-" he was about to explain but was cut off by Mikasa.
"Eren!" She shouted, hopping off the roof towards the Titan.
"Who's Eren?" Tomoko asked, walking towards a short blonde boy with oceanic blue eyes. She glanced down to where he was looking, seeing Mikasa hug a body that had emerged from the Titan. Tomoko was shocked, it appeared he was breathing and still alive but she couldn't understand how. If he had come from the Titans body he would've been eaten already but he was in perfect shape, just unconscious. Mikasa began carrying the boy to the top of the headquarters to assess the situation better. Tomoko started walking off, realizing she knew no one, she figured it'd be best for them to reclaim their thoughts on their own. After all, with what just happened, she should report to Erwin.

She began running across rooftops, not wasting her gas in case she really needed it. After all, she gave half of it to Mikasa earlier. She finally spotted Erwin talking to Levi on their horses.
"Hey, how's it going with you guys." She again dropped down. She had been checking in on everything today which was exhausting, but it's not like her squad was there.
"Squad leader Tomoko, nice to see you. Everything's fine here. Did you happen to witness anything important." He greeted, towering over her on top of his horse.
"As a matter of fact, yes. A boy, Eren, emerged from a Titan in one piece." She responded, recalling what she saw. Both Erwin and Levi looked surprised.
"He was completely unscathed, however his clothes were shredded."
"Eren, you said his name was?" Erwin spoke up.
"Yes sir." Tomoko saluted.
"I see. This is very Important, thank you for the report Tomoko." He smiled slightly at the girl.
"Oh, do you have your horse?" He questioned, noticing her traversing strictly by foot and ODM gear.
"No, I was in a rush while I was over here and ended up just scaling the wall." She sighed.
"If only I thought about it before I arrived."
"Hop on."
"Huh?" She glanced up at Levi who had positioned his horse to let her climb on its back.
"Are you.." she paused, deciding not to question it and just accept his kind gesture. She climbed on, adjusting herself on the horse. She was cautious to hold onto Levi, knowing she'd have to hold onto something. Before she could act herself, he reached behind him to grab her arms and place them around his waist. She was surprised by his sudden helpfulness towards her, although, they are soldiers in a never ending war, you have to help even those you despise during such trying times.

Quickly enough the three of them rode towards the headquarters, where Tomoko mentioned she last saw Eren.
